If I want to upgrade to a 4k tv on the lower end, am I good with this or is there something else I should be looking at?

TV isn't a huge priority for me, I'm mostly doing it because the costs are cheap enough, and I guess it would be nice to have 4k.
I have been tasked with buying a TV for a raffle at work. Someone give me a recommendation for a $1000 max TV that isn't shit.

one thing about tv's and raffles (cuz i had to deal w/ this for raffling off the old flat screens in the lobby etc), if you buy anything over 50", it's not gonna fit in a regular sedan, maybe a hatchbach could eek out a 55", but the truck and suv ppl can carry all kinds of shit.I have been tasked with buying a TV for a raffle at work. Do we know for sure that the HDMI 2.1 on the 2019 LG's is the full deal and not some hacked together version in order to be the first to get it to market?
Not any personal experience with it, but a quick Google is showing that it's an entry level 4k TV. It doesn't get very bright, so HDR isn't going to be impressive, but it does have low input lag, and good blacks, so it's not terrible.Best Buy has a Samsung 65” 4K NU6900 for $480. Seems stupid cheap but guess they’re tossing last years models? Any experience with this one or something better in the $500 range? Was just going to look at the TCLs but figured Sammy was a bigger name.
