Title: Heart of the Beast

Remember that old movie that came out I think in the '80s based on the book The Hatchet. Had a child star at the time, don't remember his name but I just remembered loving that movie when I was young especially after having read the book for school. Have no clue what the hell it was called.

I'm a sucker for survival in the wild movies. I think the last really good one I saw was The Grey.

This looks promising considering it's only got a cast of three. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

ya there's a number of em - got that one with anthony hopkins and the baldwin brothers that's great as well. Just looked it up, "the edge". Love all that stuff. Use to fantasize as a younger man flying over remote areas that my plane would go down so I could do my survival story (not factoring in i'd almost certainly die in the crash).

Yeah, I forgot about The Edge, that's the one where they're being hunted by the bear. It was actually a pretty good flick for the '90s.

I must wonder if this is going to be some sort of modern Jack London type deal like White Fang because of the dog.

Hell, even Alive is a great movie, and also a really good book, even if it's pretty grim. Man vs Nature is just interesting.
