So I'm playing constructed. See a golden Elite Tauren Chieftain. Pretty cool, haven't seen it before. He plays it, I get a golden summon murlocs card. He gets a golden summon horde warrior card. Who does he summon? Cairne Bloodhoof. TOTALLY BROKEN.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to run twisting nether instead of doomsayer, he is there moreso for surviving til late game. You can also play him on an empty board to regain tempo the following turn.

I love Doomsayer now. He fits in perfect, but just one...There isn't room, or need for another.

So I'm spacing out doing this druid draft and before I know it I'm at 30 of 30 picks. I look at my curve and I'm like oh God what have I done? But lets hope all the games go as smoothly as the first.

His previos turn he played the peacekeeper and sylvanas. I had out the 4 minions and sacrificed the squire and raider to the rng gods and starfired sylvanas. He got my crazed alchemist that turned his 4/5 yeti into a 5/4 and swiped. A crazed alchemist that was my 30th pick and one of the other choices was a sunwalker and I wanted to pick her so bad, but I saw dat curve and was like, ah hell nah.
Game #2
I killed a priest by doing 26 damage in one turn.

I'm getting a little frustrated at this game. It seems like if I go with an aggressive curve, everyone I play against has the perfect answers and then beats me in mid/late game. If I try to be more controlling, killing/trading everything off until I drop a bomb like Ysera, she gets mind controlled the turn after I drop her..

Or, while I'm playing priest with two SW:p and a smite in hand, the other deck manages to drop that flesh eating dude which immediately goes up to 4 power after he trades our other minions against each other and then drop four creatures in a row that all have 4 power exactly.

The magic/poker player in me knows that a lot of that is just running bad and it's very isolated occurrences, but when you are finally dominating a game after all that and get disconnected, damn does it put you on tilt.

Did you find the mortal coils too rarely used? Maybe I'm just forcing finesse into a blunt instrument.

Would you rather have the warlock wrath of god vs Doomsayer? Or is he a early game board clear you find critical? Do you not use Thalnos on purpose? Or do you not have one?
Yeah, Doomsayer is purely to drop in the first 2 or 3 or 4 turns vs super aggressive decks like murlocs. At that point I haven't played a single card and it works beautifully to either delay them a turn by forcing them to kill it or by clearing out their first 2-3 minions. After I've been able to drop my first drake or Mountain Giant, I'd much rather Shadowflame maybe my Defender of Argus or an Ancient Watcher to clear their board. I've also dropped plenty of 0 cost Molten Giants and Shadowflamed them to clutch clear an entire board against me. Truthfully I meant to run 2x Doomsayers, I just didn't have a second one handy so I added an Abomination instead. Works pretty nicely.

I do have Thalnos, but I don't really see him fitting in this deck. Shadowbolt and Soulfire typically deal enough damage already if you need to cast them early on, but typically I'm racing to 10 cards in hand to drop a Twilight Drake or Mountain Giant, so Thalnos wouldn't get played until late game anyway, at which point he'd be pretty useless.

Trying to choose my next legendary. Probably narrowing it down to Nat Pagle, Leeroy, or the Black Knight. Don't have a Sylvanas yet either, but I think I'm going to wait on that one for now. Probably going to craft Pagle, but that is not a particularly sexy choice so it's hard.

All are solid choices that can fit into a lot of decks. If you like playing more control oriented decks I'd craft tbk first or if you like to rush your opponent's face leeroy. I like nat pagle, but you can get similar value out of something like a loot hoarder/acolyte of pain.

True, the reason I was leaning towards Pagle was I keep imagining the dream of first turn coining him, getting a card out of him and then have my opponent waste his cards on him (PLEASE backstab->eviscerate him!). I feel he gets a lot of subtle value in the very early game that is far above and beyond the one or two cards he may or may not draw.

But you're probably right, I currently have a Novice Engineer in his spot and I have no idea why I'm not running a Loot Hoarder instead. Still have prepatch instincts I guess. I'm running an Arcane Golem in place of Leeroy which has been working out pretty well thus far since I only really want him for lategame and the extra mana crystal at 7+ mana isn't too much of a concern. Although if I played hunter much I would definitely value Leeroy much higher. I think The Black Knight is probably what I'll end up doing--I've got Cairne in his spot which is a great card, but I really need something to deal with large taunts as I'm not running Assassinate in this Rogue deck.

Okay here is my idea for an improvement to gameplay. You should receive some sort of XP bonus for the difference in the amount of time you take to play your turns vs. your opponents. IE. If your opponent is taking forever to take their turns and you are going quickly there is a bonus you get to the XP you earn since the leveling process is so slow. This could provide motivation for both parties to play quickly while minimally impacting game play. Also it makes you feel better if you are playing against a jerk. At least you are getting something out of it.
