NEVER played a card game like Magic, or anything similar, so there is that. Also, how in the fuck is this evenly matched opponents. Feels like they are leading a lamb to slaughter every time I press "play" ha-ha. It's going to be like rubbing sandpaper on my dick for a while it seems...sigh...feels good and feels real bad all at once.

*edit* just won my second game out of like 25, moving on up lol.

Did you jump right into play mode trying to get the mount? Its really more built to have you practice against AI as a tutorial and to level and get some more cards first.

Watching a few videos on Youtube can't hurt once you get the basics down. I did it when I started and I feel as though it helped me get into the swing of things very much.

Good advice fellas- I did the 5 level tutorial thingy, then jumped into no tournament play. I have already learned a ton, but having better cards plus watching some videos will be good.

Could be very elaborately staged with faceless manipulators and creature attacks to make it seem as though the bottom fire elemental was already in play when the top one was cast. You can see one faceless activation on the sidebar.

If anything the faceless was probably on an earth ele because who the shit could ever cast 3 of those

If I remember 100% correct, I coined a fire ele on turn 5, another fire on 6, earth + ancestral on 7 then faceless on the earth ele at 8. What is left is the 2 earth after he killed the 2 on board. Yes, the deck is obscene. Has an Al'akir in there too.

You sure you understand what "Arena" means. That's a constructed deck.

It's turn 9. You still have 6 cards in hand. You have taken 1 damage. Something does not compute.

Edit: I'm half kidding.

Playing against a warlock on my priest, I have him to 4 life, I'm at 30. I have a 13/2 lightwarden on the field that he hasn't been able to kill. Mysteriously his final turn never ends, and the timer never starts. After waiting 5 minutes, I go make food in the kitchen, come back ~10 minutes later and it's still his turn. I'm forced to concede the game. Such bullshit.

The game is much harder for people just starting because people are throwing down legendaries even in the early ranks (20+) and a basic deck really has very little chance if the opponent gets a decent draw. It can be frustrating losing match after match. It will get to a point where you almost have to buy cards at the outset to a advance at a decent rate.

It's been proven time and time again this isn't true. Ability to actually play and knowing how to build a deck that can compete are very important, and you can build a deck for free that will get you to legendary without ever farming a bunch of arena's or gold.

Don't buy cards. If anything buy arena runs. Arena is far more gold efficient for earning cards. I probably spent a total of about ?15 on arena entry until I got better at it, and I now have many cards and thousands of gold.

I agree, I've done the same. I've only spent 10 on cards and everything has been arena runs. Even if you do halfway decent in arena (5-6 wins), you're at least going to get gold and cards. Also always reroll on 40 quests to try to get 60 gold quests.

Dude watch Trump's videos on his Legendary run with his f2p mage deck. It's crazy how effective he is playing with just "normal" cards.
