Kind of cool, but pointless:
If you open up Hearthstone/DBF/CARD_BACK.xml and search for the line:
You can change theDefaultbit to one of the below card backs and you will use that card back by default, whether you have it or not. I'm sure it is only client side so who cares, but kind of neat.
Hearthstone patches the file each time you close it, so you would have to do this before each time you open the game, but still kind of neat.

Similar trick to be able to play on the naxx board while in play or arena mode, i'm not at home to paste in the values but there's a reddit thread if you're interested.
It seems like hunter's hero ability could be the strongest, unless it can be blocked by taunt or other mechanics? How are hunters in the overall game?

Couldn't you just edit the file and then set it to "Protected" or whatever the correct term is to flag it so that it can't modify the file?

Right now, middle of the pack - but yes, their hero ability is good for breaking stalls.

Hearthstone is mostly about controlling the board, making Hunter's hero ability one of the weakest in the game.
Obviously not as black and white as all that, but.. yeah.
Lock has the strongest Hero Power, its not even close.
As time goes on, and the cards become better. All hero powers besides locks will be terrible.
That hero power continues to rise every expansion while the other can only get worse.

Unless the cards get shittier, then the warlock power becomes weaker while the others become stronger in comparison. Nerf everything!
