The only Naxx card that wowed me was Loatheb. Regardless, you knew you were getting every card on tuesday, there was no random element like there will be with GvG packs.

My current crafting plans after I see what I get from my initial bunch of packs are 1x Bouncing Blade, 2x Autobarber, 2x Shrinkmeister, and maybe 2x Robo cub. I'm intrigued by Shieldmaiden and will probably end up crafting them, but I'll probably wait to see what Sjow says after he plays with them.

Also, Reynad thinks Muster for Battle is amazing, which is how I know it's gonna suck.

I can imagine Muster for Battle being good, tbh. Paladins win control match ups with their hero power, the only real lack they have is not enough early game to counter Hunter/Zoo. Healadin with Muster has a pretty decent tool to deal with agro, and they are already favored in every control match up except vs Priest (where no one is really favored, since even one MC and Thoughsteal can be give the Priest way to much card advantage).

The Sword of Justice synergy is real, too. Run one SoJ as a late-game tempo card. Mulligan for Muster early vs agro, and late vs control. Combo it with SoJ in control match ups for 4 2/2s (counting her power) and a 1/4 weapon. It certainly isn't as amazing as Loatheb or anything, but I think it will end up being a good card in the Paladin toolkit.

Are you sure the new weapon wouldn't destroy your SoJ before it buffs the minons? Either way, your scenario is eight mana to spawn four 2/2's and a 1/4 weapon. Not sure that's a very great return.

Muster spawns minions before equipping weapon.

I'm not impressed with the cards. They are nice but nothing that's going to shake up the meta too much imo.

Draw a card. If that card is a beast, it costs 4 less to play. Pretty bad imo but might be used in the post Undertaker meta whenever it finally gets nerfed.

Muster for Battle seems good with all those 1 drop paladin secrets. Or a turn 5 drop with this and Knife Juggler. 7 mana worth of junk for 3 mana.

How is draw a card, if it is a beast and costs less than 4 it is free, otherwise it costs 4 less bad?
Especially for 2 mana. Turn 2 King Mukkla off the top, or Oasis Snapjaw?
Or a turn 3 Highmane, Maexxna...

Because it's a more restrictive Far Sight and Far Sight isn't played at all. The advantage it has is it's a Hunter card and they have very few draw options. But the top Hunter decks right now would get the reduced cost beast about 1/3 of the time. It's not unplayable but I don't see it replacing Flare/Tracking really.

Edit: Especially since turn two is still an important tempo/aggro turn. You want to be playing Mad Scientist, or Haunted Creeper, or Knife Juggler, have a dude on the board.

Hunter already has access to cheap cantrips in the form of Flare, which potentially wrecks the mirror match, and Loot Hoarder which puts a minion in play and potentially buffs your Undertaker. There isn't much room for Beasts in an Undertaker deck. I already said it might be decent in a post-Undertaker meta if Hunters end up swinging back towards heavy beast synergy, but realistically I think Hunter is a pretty dead class once Undertaker goes away.

Mech-bear-cat is pretty clever, but it's basically a worse Boulderfist Ogre. Toshley is decent, but none of the spare parts are really high impact enough to consider running him over the existing 6 cc legendaries.

5 mana Krush or Beast would be awesome but cards like that just don't see consistent play since it's so unlikely you draw them at the right time, and then use them to draw the good cards.

You are basically using this to create a Ramp Hunter deck but the support for a deck like that isn't really there.

No, that's really good. Any 4 mana or less beast you draw gets played that same turn if you like. If you draw a really strong beast like a Highmane you'll be able to play it for 2 mana next turn. At it's very worst it's a deck cycle.

I guess I've not been paying close enough attention, what is a "spare part" card?

Oh, I googled that for me.
