Ah I've just been super lucky then, happened twice in a row.
I've had two games so far as control Paladin where a mage drops a turn 1 (coined) micro machine and I proceed to never draw any of my weapons or removal. So silly to lose on turn 4 to that crap.

I had a game where my opponent killed my Malorne 3 times, and every time he was at the top of my deck and the card I drew next turn. WTF?

I played him for the 4th time and my opponent was RAGING. He was a Priest by the way, and finally just mind controlled him. I had to silence him and kill the bastard off, then mill the Priest to death.

Yeah, tbh they might end nerfing Mechwarpers to either not stack, or to function like Pint Sized Summoner where you only get the bonus on your first mech summon per round. Cost reductions in Magic are typically balanced by the fact that no matter how many of them you stack, they only reduce the colorless part of the casting cost so you'll still always have to pay some colored mana to summon your dudes.

If mechwarper is nerfed, undertaker should get nerfed too. That would put most rush decks in check atm.
Actually if mechwarper was a 3/2 it would help a lot. Right now the 3 health makes it very sticky early on.

Is it just me or does it seem like hunters start turn 1 undertaker 9 of 10 times yet when I play hunter I might get undertaker 1 of 5 on turn 1? lol.

Not sure Fawe, every time I have played Undertaker turn 1 it's removed by turn 2, every. single. fucking. time.

In the last day, I've had 2 dream openings against Rogues. Turn 1: undertaker, coin, undertaker. Turn 2 leper gnome x2. Turn 3 they concede since no backstab.

Yea I remove it asap obviously but prioritizing good removal for a 1 drop sucks a lot of times. Even if it dies right away it still did something good.

I'd like to pick some player's brains.
Assuming opponent has empty board: Is it better to play a UT turn 1 and not buff it or to hold it to turn 2 when you can can drop a deathrattle on the board with it.

Play it turn 1. You force them to have an answer for it, and in the case of warrior and druid in particular, you force them to coin axe/wrath if they have it because they cant take the risk that you can follow it up with two deathrattles, boosting it to 4 health. The only person who doesn't have to coin their 2 cc undertaker answer in that situation is Priest, because Pain (if they run it) still kills your undertaker with 2 deathrattle buffs.

If you have the coin and a 2-cost Deathrattle, I still think you play UT and force them to answer it.

If you have the coin and UT with a 1 cost Deathrattle then you definitely UT + coin Leper/Clockwork.

Drop it anyways. Players that don't have an answer to UT within a couple turns will soon find themselves having a bad day. Shaman blowing their silences early is quite fun.

Yeah, it's pretty much always the right play to drop UT on turn 1 because it forces removal. And if your opponent can't, immediately, remove him, you get some quick damage with him. It's one of the reasons he's so strong (perhaps too strong) because he forces inefficient removal to deal with or you risk, outright, losing the game.

One motto to follow in Hearthstone is "Don't be greedy".

Saving UT for a chance at making him stronger is a greedy play.
Control decks might have some legit "greedy" options, like trying to use your limited AoE clear for the best time, but even that can backfire easily.
So yea.. play UT turn 1

Yeah, assuming your opponent did nothing turn 1 it is still best to play undertaker. You play your curve. If you hold onto undertaker in fear your opponent has a fiery war axe or something you're just going to fall behind anyway. You could maybe hold onto it and play around certain things if you had undertaker and two 1 drops, but if its undertaker and 2 mana deathrattle, I'd play undertaker every time.

The card I'm loving more every day is Recombulator - what an amazing card in Druid control with all the fatties.

Why do druids carry so many minions that cannot be targeted by spells? And by many I mean two or three. I don't usually see other classes with them.
