For not working, I'm working it just fine on the regular... shrug.

There isn't a game I can recall recently where a MW rush came out that I didn't counter completely - occasionally the attrition from the rush was too much and they carried through AFTER the rush because too much damage was already done but countering it at least to the point it was neutered wasn't too much of an issue. I tend to run Gazlowe/Antonidas and other things that let me have throwaways early on that replace themselves with value for the supporting push to the AE though. [i.e. the 2/1 mech for 1 - spare part with either becomes a Mech or a Fireball - value even if it's a bad part, and really any part is good by itself when the stars align correctly]

Biggest problem decks to me right now are the rare Handlock and whatever the popular shaman build right now is called - all the MW based stuff that seems to make up the rest honestly don't bother me. I don't have 100% win rate, but definitely well above 65% for most variants.

Also, as some recent matches are reminding me (I still haven't felt like paying $20 for Naxx yet - and was on break so gold is still going towards GVG right now) - Deathlord has a ton of value vs. MW builds

Yeah, let's nerf a card based on having 2 in your first two hands and coin. Yep. Great metric there.
These days I don't drop early Mechwarpers at all. It just gets removed. I save it for a tempo swing of dropping at least another threat with it (tank, shredder, machine).
That's for when I play a mech deck ofc.

Yeah dropping it turn three when you can follow with a snowchugger or annoy-o-tron is more ideal. Leaving it out there alone is pretty worthless most times. And for every double warper start where you blow out your opponent or he concedes you have another match where you end up overextended and get swept and then you're out of gas while they pluck away at you.

How do you play this game without Naxx cards? Only play Arena?

Mechmage wouldn't be that bad to play against if it wasn't for fucking Blastmage.

A 5/4 for 4 with a built in Pyroclasm (from Magic)? So dumb.

unless I am the one dropping it down, I dont like Blastmage, but more happy its not a neutral card.

What mage needs added is an unstable spell portal to summon any spell in the game randomly with three less cost.

I got tired of playing against mechwarpers, so have turned to the darkside. I've converted my cheap warlock zoo deck to a mech zoo deck. Only had to spend like 160 dust (2 annoyotrons, power overwhelming, spider tank). Already had implosions and whatever else. I'm liking it so far. No super synergy like blastmage, but with the UT nerf, going with MW'ers seems like next best thing. Still has all it's basics like flame imp and voidwalker, etc. Also, knife juggler plus implosion is always fun.

Mech mage isn't even as good as the the old Zoo, and in all honesty if it keeps Priests off the ladder I'm all for it.

Nothing is worse then people who ladder with priest, and them going to the rope on every god damn turn.

This. Occasionally you make sense.

Persistence? Shrug.

There's definitely some losses having Sludge or similar would have turned, but I don't sweat a non-indeal win rate. I get frustrated more by my bad pairings showing than anything else.

(remember I do MTGO as well - in most pairings the best win rates for skilled players is often 60-70%, same as I've been managing outside of my bad pairings)

Funny, my priest is my best win rates right now vs MechMage. Of course it's a weirdly aggressive priest build that gets T8 wins rather often rather than the standard attrition, but still...

Mech Mage is very strong against Priest. They have all the tools to eliminate anything they put on the board, and outpace them.

Its never going to be a 100% win because the card draw always dictates the tempo of Mech mage, unlike Zoo where anything can be pretty much be played.

But I guarantee they are at least 50% on all priests across the board.

Also Vaclav, stop being a scrub and buy Naxx. It has some of the best cards in Hearthstone.

This is not MTGO, and I guarantee you haven't met any skilled players yet if you over 70% and haven't even got close to legend. 50% win rate in this game is considered very good

Persistiance? lol...

Seriously Vaclav, unless you are homeless, just fucking buy Naxx. Or borrow a penny from the 50,000 relatives that you always use as sources.

I spoiled myself with an iPad Air 2 for my birthday. Hearthstone runs fantastic on it. I was running it on a 3rd generation iPad and that was just really clunky. It wasn't smooth at all.
