You know, the other thing about the spells is they are another fucking random effect. I thought they got the message loud and clear that everyone is sick of the random bullshit.

Nef seems terrible when you compare to Ysera. Even though Ysera guarantees 1 card at worst, the cards are all good, super cheap and Ysera poses as a constant threat. I can see Nef giving 2 worthless cards more often than not. Also 4/12 is probably better than 8/8 in most cases.

Shit making Nef 12 health would do a lot for him. Even like 5/9 or 6/10 would be better than what he is right now.

Watching Viagame House Cup. I think Savjz could have won against the Hunter if he freezing trapped the Belcher after it got silenced instead of the 2/3. Weird to me that no one even saw that possibility.

So I got to rank 6 a couple weeks ago with an aggro/Mech Shaman deck, but after messing up my rank while having a bit of fun with somefortehlulz decksI decided to give control shaman another go. Is there a particular reason I don't ever see Shamans using Alex? I have been finding him extremely useful against face hunter since more than 50% of my losses to hunter were coming after turn 9 after I established my board where I lost to hero power + a topdecked charge minion or a topdecked kill command. But it also makes winning vs a control warrior with 20 armor much easier.

To deconstruct your pro-Alex argument, control warrior is already a favorable matchup for you and healbot can be cast 4 turns earlier than alex in the hunter matchup.

Yeah I used healbot for a little bit, but I like Alex better because 1.bigger body 2. absorbs BGH and other instant removals, and 3. can also set up lethal combos quite nicely ala stall mage. Healbot has always felt lackluster in my shaman deck so Alex has been a nice replacement.

I'm surprised people still haven't gotten the message that Blizzard will keep doing the random stuff. Just treat the game as it is, a beer and pretzels game. Something to play 15 min here and there.

Not saying you're wrong, but it's likely impossible for some people here to treat a game that way. I play a game to get better at it, understand the mechanics and play styles, try out new things, etc. Hard to do that when you treat it as a distraction.

I had to commit to not playing this game anymore instead of just a severely reduced playtime. Distraction Hearthstone is not satisfying and still rage inducing.

Isn't that tiddler celestial or something? The guy that grew in popularity because he looks like Gollum and had a good run at the last hs finals.

Also, w/ firebat when he won the hs finals, his semi-final and final match he won 3-0 and he got just the right card when he needed it.

I have Dr. Boom played on board, opponent is one off of lethal with a Juggler on board. He plays a minion and hits face, lethal.... so he plays another minion, which pops a bomb, which kills one of his guys, so he loses next turn. Sometimes....
