Heroic Thaurissan was perhaps the easiest Heroic they've released, but working in the betrayal was kind of fun.

I have a theory.

They moved the crafting mode button because they are working on a new class for the expansion
13. We are currently developing death knight and monk but we can't reveal too much.

They already confirmed 2 new classes in the pipes

Playing against a hunter that is going to rope every turn in arena. Ahunter. Why.

Edit: Yea deciding whether or not to play that puddlejumper before or after he attacked my 1/1 imp really strained his tactics there :p

Vandyn#1123 in case anyone wants to add me.

I had an interesting thing happen with Resurrect. Playing against a Pally, I had used Shadow Madness on his aldor peacekeeper to finish off his sludge belcher (which in turn killed the peacekeeper). Used Resurrect 2 turns later and it revived the peacekeeper on my side. Not surprising when you really think about it but wasn't expecting it. Very RNG card as a whole, used it about 4-5 times. Twice it rezzed a cleric but it did rez Thaurissan the turn after he was killed. Needless to say it was game over at that point.

My face hunter has some ridiculous win rate right now. Feels like everyone is stocking up on slower cards to use emperor effectively.

I think I beat Reynad earlier. It's too hard to tell with people using duplicate names.

Quick Shot went straight into my Face Hunter deck. I cut a Snake Trap and an Arcane Golem.
As I don't have a great collection yet, I don't have the decks for Emp T but I suspect he is going in the control warrior I am working on. I beat the normals and class challenges in about 30 mins on EU but I was half asleep and hungover. Cba with the Heroics.
All in all, pretty fun though.

Is anything particularly effective against Dr Boom? Is it just BGH or bust?

edit: Just frustrated with that card. Every time it comes up it feels like such an enormous swing.

Beat all the heroic challenges with priest. #1 was the hardest, but none of them took me too long. I beat the Hunter challenge on turn 3.. my Gahz'rilla did 24 damage on turn #2.

Hunter challenge was fun as usual, I drew (and played) hyenas and his hero power pulled Highmanes turn 1 and 2, mine was over about turn 3 as well lol.

Quick Shot is indeed fucking ridiculous, I cut my worgens for it and have also had a retarded win rate with it so far (small sample size so far only 10 games).

Yea, lets give a cantrip damage card to the already face-renowned class. I'm lovin the turn 3-4 deaths.
I mean... MTG had mono red burn/aggro, so I guess they keep it around because it is a playstyle people enjoy... it just doesn't have a lot of counterplay, therefore is boring.

Any hard removal will work. BGH is one of the better ways though. Especially if you can hero power down a bomb before dropping him. Gives BGH a better chance of survival. If you're playing Paladin, saving a Peacekeepr for him works too.

In your opinion.
I (and many others) don't enjoy the durdling around so-called 'control' players like to engage in. People who rope every turn in ladder/casual are why everyone turns to aggro decks. It's not fun waiting for someone to take their socks and shoes off so they can count to 20.
Ever play against Eggs in MTG? Yeah, that's why there will always be aggro decks.

Yeah, problem is none of that is a total answer. I'm playing with Lightbombs, which is probably the best answer, and even that doesn't feel good.

BGH is about as good as it gets. Opponent spends 7 mana on Boom. You spend 3 to nullify the largest part of the threat. You still have 4 mana to play with to nullify the bombs or play around them.

Did the same thing. No regrets at all. If he gets nerfed, I'll just get my refund.

On another note, Quick Shot is legit. There isn't a single class where I wouldn't pay 2 mana for a 3 damage spell that can hit anything. Dark Bomb proved that it doesn't even need an upside (like Frostbolt freezing, Wrath giving the choice of card draw etc.). The fact that you can cycle it if you run out of cards is just icing on an already delicious cake.

I Goldened an Emp as well - still have ~4000 dust left over.

I've played against every possible deck in MTG btw, I played a lot of MTG - and there is a difference in hearthstone between people purposefully roping you each turn and actually playing a slower deck.
How fun is it to have the stars align and you kill your opponent on turn 3/4? I mean it is part of the game, but why give tools to that playstyle to enhance it? The drawback to huge burn/face is you run out of steam and you're dead. Well shoot lets make a cantrip card to make that horrible option of losing become less of an issue.
