Sparring Partner = new taunt warrior guaranteed. I am calling it again now, the bolster warrior is going to be insane. It is also just a ridiculously strong card on its own. Being able to target enemy minions is crazy good icing on the cake.

Elemental Destruction is the final nail in the coffin for me with Shamans. I have 0 hope for Shaman's future with this design team's vision.

I really like Arcane Blast. Hope there is more of that stuff to come in the future to make spell damage more viable.

It's kinda funny that people have been asking for some kind of spell damage taunt, and now that they print one people bitch about it.

You're right about him being strictly worse than taunt against creature damage though.

Chillmaw will be good.

2 Dragons with Taunt revealed so far. It's exactly what Dragon decks need.

The effect is a bonus. Fun mind games effect because the opponent won't know to play around the 3 damage aoe or not.

Also 3 mana Hunter Legendary... seems meh. Maybe control hunter becomes a thing idk,.

Yes insane is overstating it, but it passes the vanilla test insanely well. A lot of people underestimate the value of being able to taunt anything so easily. Definitely makes The Black Knight a lot more valuable.

Not sure how I feel about them making shit like Ice Rager and Evil Heckler rather than just upgrading the current cards, even if they would still be unplayable. Interesting.

Mulch is amazing. Lots of great new removal options for everyone except for Shamans. Elemental Destruction makes me want to cry. Maybe it will be such a slap in the face that enough people will riot hard enough to get Blizzard to understand how badly they are designing Shamans. You could write a 4,000 word essay on this card alone on what is wrong with it and why the design is so massively flawed.

They should have just buffed the original cards. They're still unplayable outside of arena but it's more in line with what magma rager and booty bay should have been to begin with.

Yea I dont know how they can justify printing those cards.

Similarly to GvG, I expect there will be some nerfs/buffs to cards at release and I wouldn't be surprised if Magma Rager and Booty Bay are changed to match these new cards, but if they do intend to leave them as-is then wtf Blizzard.

I think that the intent is to leave them as is. These are what Booty Bay and Magma Rager should have been all along. Instead of changing the old cards they created new cards to replace them. With that said, power creep or not they both still suck.

Booty bay body guard and magma rager are core set cards remember. Everyone gets them for free when they start the game. Maybe they are going to make an "improved" version of all the free cards?

Hahahah a little dramatic are we? I'm not sure replacing two cards that are never played with two more cards that will never be played really matters. Every card expansion has shit tons of filler and these are just that...
