What is it supposed to do? I mean if it was 4/10 or something I guess but at 7 mana for a 4/2, I guess you can combo it with hounds at 10 mana or something for a board clear?

Also, Kodo rider is delicious but that 6 cost... you really need to drop it at 8 mana to get enough out of it.

He's worth contemplating as an anti-control tool, similar to how I thought the Skeleton Knight might work. Unfortunately once Patron gets nerfed I foresee the meta shifting back to heavy aggro, which this card will be far too slow against.

Dreadscale seems decent and on par regarding playability with most of the other class legendaries, so it's possible Acidmaw is intentionally a little weaker than needed and included more for flavor/lore reasons.

I don't really see it being usable even against slow control decks since it needs to be combo'ed, but it's possible someone finds a way to use it. I do sincerely hope someone makes a control hunter deck work though.

Hunter will never make a good control deck for the same reason that warrior will never make a good aggro deck.

I dunno, I almost think of kodo rider as better slotted into some sort of control/midrange deck where you have complete board control by time you are dropping him, but he'd need to fit into a deck that wants to use hero power all the time as well. Maybe some sort of druid something has enough control and the mana curve to do something with it?

Yeah but 8 mana just gets you two 3/5s. At 9 mana, Druid can just win the game usually. It can win games that you have control but I'd also just rather use taunt minions and Kel'thuzad. It's just a pretty weak 8 mana play at this time. Cool but probably is too slow which we've said for far too long. Step it up Blizzard.

Yea. *shrug* This game just needs more game modes to make some of these cards do anything. It really needs 'standard' like MTG, last 2 sets + last PVE if they are going to use the MTG iterative design philosophy instead of 'fix' the cards like a real digital TCG.
