I don't understand friending someone after you lose to say the deck is trash. OK, so you lost to a trash deck... what does that say about you?

Haven't opened in a pack from the arena with a card I don't already have in the last 15 or so tries. How can they justify only giving GvG packs at this point when it's such a smaller collection of cards than classics? Chalk me up as a frustrated customer that has stopped forking over real money and play considerably less than I did. I think I'm done with Arena now that it doesn't actually ever reward me with anything useful. Ever. Guess I'll just grind out some dailies and purchase the first couple wings of BRM with gold instead of dollars. GG Blizzard.
I keep getting the same cards, but I'm still missing a bunch of GvG cards. I've been having the worst luck with legendaries. Of all the GvG packs I've opened, I've gotten one fucking legendary. And it's shitty Iron Juggernaut.

The Imp Gang Boss looks playable for sure. Great card for zoo.

You guys think the core rager is good? Hunters currently use their hero power as much as possible, it's hard to empty your hand.

It'll just make the play style of face Hunter different. If you have it in hand, empty your hand. But I still don't think it'll be good. You generally don't want to Arcane Golem early if you can avoid it. Plus BGH is never going away, one of the advantages of face Hunter right now is it has zero BGH targets. Adding one makes the deck worse, not better. Best case scenario you won't be too upset to get it off of a Webspinner.

So far the only cards I have any interest in are the Grim Patron, the Mage card, and the Rogue card. Seems like it could be interesting. Grim Patron in Priest with Pyro and in Warrior with Bouncing Blade+Commanding is a thing I am going to do, even if it is terrible.

Well it's the same feeling some people get when you play in really low ranks with decks that probly win 1 out of 25 games but just happen to match up well against whatever you are rolling with at the time.

It's going to erk people that play within the meta in a laddering system.People expect things to be very organized in ranked play.

For me I could care less. You have to be completely devoid of emotion in this game because it has no bearing on the outcome. The chances you will come up against an off the wall deck in rank 10 to 3 are pretty slim. If it's like 1 out every 15 games then it doesn't matter.

Also, once you hit Legend you should be able to lose it. I'm sure trolling ranks 5-1 is fun, and since I've done it myself I can't condemn the urge to do it. What I will say is for the player working his ass off to get his first Legend you shouldn't be allowed to be that disruptive, OR don't put Legend players up against the regular ranks.

I've actually had a decent run opening legendaries, problem is I get the shit ones. Opened a Troggzor with one of my free packs on opening week and since then it's been Mimiron's Head x2, Hemet x2, and a fucking Flame Leviathan. At least I've picked up enough dust to craft a Boom, Sylvanas, and Rag so I guess I shouldn't bitch TOO much.

A couple of weeks ago I was all gung go to pre-order Blackeock Mointain as soon as I could. Today I realized I'm just not enjoying the game much. Aggro is simply too strong and I don't enjoy playing as aggro or against aggro. Since aggro is so strong, ranks up faster and gains gold faster the majority of my opponents are aggro decks.

It's the standard PvPtard response to losing.

Story time:

Back in Wrath I was playing an Unholy DK and sitting around in Ungoro. I got jumped by a Arms warrior and wrecked him, I didn't just beat him, I fucking DESTROYED this guy. So he comes back for another crack, he does much better but still dies. He comes back a third time, this time as Protection, and pushes my shit in. I jump him from my rezz before he's had much of a chance to heal up and kill him, barely. So he logs in his horde hunter and starts shit talking about how I'm the worst DK in the game. That I should "learn2heroicbryntroll" and the like, I was using a normal bryntroll. I asked, "what's it like to lose to the worst DK in the game, three times out of four?"

I looked up his armoury and his protection gear was unfuckingbelievely awesome.

R -- People get real bent out of shape when they lose to someone they thought they could have beaten because they either had the gear (cards), or the knowledge (skill), and found out that there ARE indeed people more skilled, or lucky than they were on the day. The salt is real. Been that way in almost every PvP game I've played.

I'm getting frustrated with Arena. I started in January and averaged 3.4 wins. In Feb I averaged 4.5 wins, and thought great - I'm improving as a player. Now in March, I'm down to averaging 3.9 wins. Perhaps February was the aberration, or maybe other players have gotten better faster than I've improved, or perhaps I've just had some unlucky match-ups in my last 10 arenas. I don't know, but that sense of improving and getting better and having something to look forward to is gone. The progression is so slow because I'm winning less gold and dust than I did in February. It doesn't help that I DE almost everything from the GvG packs while I pray for a Quartermaster.

I don't think building your collection uber-slowly is enough of a carrot for most people. I feel like I am regressing rather than progressing, which makes me want to spend my time elsewhere where I feel I can improve, progress, and be rewarded. To me the fun part of games (whether they be MMO, RTS, chess, poker, whatever) is improving, but the random nature of Hearthstone makes me feel like I've hit a wall and there isn't enough of a carrot to continue.

(Sorry for the Blizz forums nature of this emo post.)

You need to adjust your handling of that scenario and have some fun. Wait a day or two and then friend him, he is going to have no idea why he friended you by that point. Then you message him and say "I'm glad you friended me, after a beating like that most people wouldn't but you took that loss like a man and were able to move past it! Thank you!"

Reminds me of Vanilla WoW days on the PTR versus Ming, the self proclaimed best rogue in the entire god damned world. Beat every class, every spec, all day, every day, except when he fought my protection paladin, back when they were horrible.
Horrible except with the right gear you could outlast anyone, and poor Ming couldn't handle it. Probably went through 5 respecs and 10 fights before giving up. He was asian though so his rages made no sense in Whackanese.

Mind Control tech makes me rage. 3 1/1's and takes the other minion every time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Unless it's me, I'll get 1/1 every time. Losing games like that to the 20-25% or less RNG makes me angry.

I don't get this game at all some times. Rank 7 game pal vs my mage, its late game, I'm at 20 life, 3 cards in hand, and have a minion who's at 1/3. He has 3 midrange minions out, 8 life... and he plays sylvanas and goes face for non lethal. What could I possible have been sitting on the entire game? Are you fucking serious? Rank 7? Do you not know.. math?

Yep, just happened to me the other day.

Learned long ago that I will never respect HS as a legit CCG.....which is why I just super casual it. Pretty much only play it while watching a show/movie/doing hw/ etc

I just pretend I'm playing in a vintage magic tournament, which is far far worse than Hearthstone could ever dream of being.

Far less RNG in vintage. (even shuffling wise, since there's almost always redundancy)

Is al'akir even worth having in any shaman deck? I don't have many legendaries (rag, sneeds and deathwing) but i have about 3200 dust and I want to put together either a mage or priest deck or both and start really trying to climb the latter instead of just getting to 19 every month. Should i use that 3200 on sylvanis and antonidas or are there other legendaries i should consider crafting? I have most of the other cards i've seen listed for those types of decks.
