Mage seems best also for spare parts, if you can stealth him and control when he dies you can then get off the hero power. Way too risky to put on a board otherwise.

He's likely going to be in some cheese decks, if any can even make it work. Like a OTK deck that relies on stealthing him until next turn but then you need a way to kill him after you attack with him.

I can't really see it working out.

Majordomo Executus might as well be a Mage Class card because that's the only possible way it gets played. I could see potentially swapping out Antonidas for it. I'm assuming Alex would let you pump your health up to 15.
I don't think so, I imagine it will be like Jaraxus and set your max health to 8. Also, it's a Deathrattle right? So you aren't Rag when you play him, only when he dies.

Ben Brode confirms you can set yourself to 15 with Alex afterwards.

Ben Brode on Twitter:

Edit:
Also confirmed is Gang Up works on enemy minions.

I had assumed this would be the case based on the card text,
Control rogue could become a thing?

Alex works with Jaraxxus though because he sets your max at 15. This is the first instance that we'll see a conflict so who knows.

Edit: Well there you go.

Where's the complete list of the new cards?

The hunter one you showed is really good, 3 damage and draw a card at only a 2 mana cost...

Dammit, Dragon Consort (5/5/5 reduces next dragon's cost by 2) is Paladin only. So much potential in that card too...

With Majordomo, there seems to be some debate when it comes to armor. For warrior, does turning into Rag remove any armor you have?

The stuff I think is playable

Hungry Dragon - maybe. That's a pretty big damn body for 4 mana, and I can't think of many 1 drops where it would backfire on you.

Chromaggus - I honestly think Chromaggus is slightly better than Kel'thuzad, and Kel'thuzad is already borderline playable. Would be more playable if the format slows down for a month or two like it normally does when new cards enter the pool.

Emperor Thaurissan - As people have said, the 6 slot is very competitive, but I honestly think Thaurissan is objectively stronger than Sylvanas, whom I consider to be the current objectively strongest 6 drop. That is some potentially insane mana cheating that he provides, so pretty much everyone will be finding room for him.

Quick Shot - I think Kolento is way overrating this one. This certainly won't be run by all hunter decks. I definitely wouldn't run this in mid-range hunter, and if I was running this in face hunter I would probably pull the kill commands and most of the beasts.

Dragon Consort - This is an objectively powerful card, but I don't think there are enough other good dragon cards to put control paladin back on the map, and this doesn't fit midrange paladin. I think this is a card that will become very strong somewhere down the road when the card pool gets bigger.

Resurrect - Maybe, but probably not. Would really suck to get a Northshire back. If you're going to gamble, gamble with Thoughtsteal.

Fireguard Destroyer - Very solid creature that helps plug a hole in the midrange creature slot for Shaman.

Upon review, I agree that the set seems a bit weaker than Naxx, but not dramatically so. At least they took care not to make a bunch more out of control aggro cards, but unfortunately they didn't really print anything to keep aggro under control either. I predict after a couple months of people dicking around with the new stuff, the meta will be right back to heavy aggro.
