So in case anyone didn't assume, the iPhone release also coincides with the android phone release. Runs a lot faster than the tablet version on my poor phone now, although the actual board interaction feels clunkier. Probably just need to get used to it.

Got my second Shadow Madness from the free pack too (note I got that free pack even after having gotten the free pack from playing on a "tablet" before)

I take back my comment about playing on a phone. The interface is much better than I expected and the performance was much better on the Nexus 5 than it was on my Nexus 7(2012). Now, how to deal with battery drain...

So, I've gotten most of the cards I want from GvG and have about 1k in gold. I am lacking a lot of the best cards from the original. Do I get packs from the new set or just get packs from the old one?

I started during Nax if that helps show how few original cards I have.

Seems like a silly question dude. If you have most of what you want from GvG and are missing a lot from Classic, get classic.

Especially if you do any arenas, I still buy tons of classic packs. It was easy to get most of the best stuff from GvG, the majority of the legendaries and epics are just underwhelming. Can always save dust to have for crafting when something new and unexpected develops.

I don't have an iphone but I did play the android version on my tablet when it came out, in order to get the free pack. There isn't a different android version for phones that also gives a pack, right? I assumed it was the same version, phone and tablet.

I believe before it was a free pack for playing a game on an "android device", last night I got a pack for playing a game on an "android phone" so it may be two different free packs, I didn't get the first one so can't confirm.

Edit NM, just read the post above me, yeah, two different free packs it is.

Damn, played like 4-5 games on my iPhone during lunch and only used up about 15% battery.

Also, the UI is really nice. Only misplayed once when I went face with my hero vs trying to hit a minion.

This shit is soooo bad for productivity.

Releasing on mobile devices is a buff to Nozdormu!

I played 1 game for the pack but playing on phone is too annoying. I do like playing on a tablet though.

I like tablet as well. Just wish any of the stat trackers could work on tablet. Only played on phone long enough to collect the dust. Didn't seem horrible tho.

I didn't mind the size of the interface, and I think they did a good job cramming everything on there and leaving some of the board clickies intact.

One thing that did bother me though is that I was playing with the phone on the table and the stupid protruding camera on the iPhone 6 makes the phone rock when you tap it. Also, craning over a phone screen is pretty bad for your neck.

Game runs like garbage on my 2013 nexus 7 and amazing on my GS6edge I don't get it. UI is a lot better too.

Some streamer do well with Midrange Hunter recently? Ran into a couple my last 2 games after not seeing any on the ladder for a long time.

Edit: Make that 3 Mid-Range Hunters in a row at rank 13. Haven't seen them in ages, but they are back.

Perhaps a response to Grim Patron Warriors eating Face Hunters for lunch??

Heh I had just played a few games in ladder with a midrange hunter over lunch. I'm not sure how good it is overall though. It certainly is harder for other decks to straight up counter than a face hunter, but it doesn't straight up counter anything like face hunter does. It might be better against these demonlock midrange decks I keep seeing though maybe that's why.

Well freezing trap does fare better against a warsong commander combo than explosive which enables it.

And the creatures are resiliant vs. Warrior removal so i would guess midrange hunter is fairly good vs patron warrior. Haven't tried it myself yet.
