What a weird day, all I got was a bunch of series of 5-6 wins in row followed by 5-6 loses over and over...not a single series of either win or loss that were shorter than 5. Was really weird, and frustrating.

As for the expansion, I guess it will all depends on the inspire mechanic. Most card with inspire seem like they'll be too slow...either get them on the board and use hero power next turn, or wait till you can put them on and use the hero power the same turn...either it feels like it will slow...and since there is a huge amount of aggro, it just feels bad right now.

They might introduce a few card that could all change that though.

I hope they manage to reduce aggro and slow the game a bit. Personally I hate playing aggro deck, I find the, too boring and one dimensional. I enjoy decks and games where there are lot of strategy and decision making and it goes back and forth between players. That might just be me though.

The thing with inspire is if you can make your hero power worth more, certain classes get card advantage as well. IE, mage inspire if 2 dmg hero power stops you from needing to waste a burn spell it's saving you a card as well.

someone posted on reddit that there's about ~40 playable cards of the 130 from GvG (used in the meta). TGT seems to be on par to have about as many. Those 3 mana Legendaries are playable as well as some others already mentioned, with ~100 yet to be revealed.

I think with GvG that we were overly optimistic about cards. Troggzer and Bouncing Blade immediately spring to mind as cards that we thought would be great but didn't pan out. And, yeah, nobody saw Dr. Boom as a required card until GvG launched. I actually remember Boom being a sleeper. Then the day after GvG launched a few pros tossed him in their decks and suddenly everyone realized just how good he is.

With TGT we're being pessimistic. I can't say that we're being overly pessimistic yet but so far we haven't seen much that is good outside of Arena. The two 3 cost Legendary guys are, automatically, good since they are Spider Tanks with positive abilities. They also fill a niche of cheap costed but usable Legendaries. Other than that though I don't see much that is good or even playable. Like I said before, I think Inspire was their attempt to slow the game down but that only works if people ignore playing Face Huntard or Zoo decks. They only slow the game down if everyone starts playing them. But until we get actual tools to deal with insane aggro, the game will never slow down because aggro will just outrace your slow deck.

TempoStorm's latest ladder ranking has Aggro Pally as the number 2 deck. I already run into them all the time... now they'll be even more ubiquitous. Not fun. Maybe I'll have to play ramp druid or something.

Minor nerf to MCT and Shredder I guess? Still, pretty damned good if you can silence it (or even not... Druids run a lot of 4-drops) but I wonder how it'll get used.

Strong rare, looks like it should be an epic even. Shame it is Druid only.

pretty much immune from Priest shenanigans. Also, makes Sylvanas vulnerable to it.

The only card that I can recall I was wrong about was Shiedmaiden. I still think Healbot is too strong and said so from the beginning. I also said Fel Reaver would be garbage and in my opinion, I still think it's garbage. Anyways, sure, people are wrong about cards all the time, but from what I am seeing around the net on various forums, more people are saying this set is pretty universally garbage than any other set in the past. It's pretty ubiquitous. We still have 100 cards to go though, so there should be at least a few decent cards. But I don't see anything meta redifining coming up :/ We can only hope at least. I personally hope the rest of the set sucks so it can finally be the kick I need to quit the game. The random arena pack is *almost* enough to make me quit and it might be enough even if the set turns out to be decent, but if the set is also shit, I'll be able to quit no problem, and I actually think I'll be happy abou that. I'm just addicted.
Why do you care so much to want to quit if you only play for arena? Most of the cards are looking solid for arena. Yeah the random pack is shitty but its still an upgrade over only getting one pack type.

Its a hard counter for Demonlock which was the number 2 for the last snapshot. People start running demon lock more, aggro pally takes its place.

90% win percentage against handlock, over 75% win percentage over Demon.

Grim patron on the other hand hasnt budged from 1st place ever.

Like I said earlier, just make warsong only charge minions if they stay at 3 attack. If they go over for any reason they can no longer charge.
And you balance that deck out, and it will still be in the top 5.

Aggro Pally is fun. Minions are sticky so Blessing of Might and Kings can usually find a target that will get to attack. It's also a blast going up against Face Huntard and putting them on the defensive. Most of them have no idea what it's like to have to think about making trades and they start to panic when Pally is more aggressive than they are.

Correct thing to do against aggro pally as face hunter is to just keep dumping your hand and racing to the face. They'll never get value out of divine favor, and a face race is definitely in your favor, although not by a whole lot. A well timed explosive or unleash will blow the game out, unleash typically being the only time you consider trading instead of going face.

Which is what a face hunter is. If you are trading you are losing.

FYI Face and agro pally are even win percentages against each other. Which means you don't want to face them on either side if you are playing those two decks.

If people start playing aggro pally this season, ramp druid will hit top 5 for next snapshot.

They really need to add something other than 1v1 vs friends. I can only assume 2v2 would never be added since it won't fit on a phone screen, which is unfortunate.
