Gotta love stealth changes. I guess it makes sense since Fel Reaver has never done fatigue? "Remove" is more clear than "Discard". But it's stupid that it doesn't let you see what was removed. That's essentially a stealth Fel Reaver buff. It was instantaneous as well, there was no delay, so I'm guessing it is a change. Sigh, why do developers never learn re: stealth changes?might be an intentional change
discard changed to remove
Actually, only the previous one wasn't a "bug" and was a mistake on my part due to a lack of clarity and consistency with deathrattle effects. The others have all been bugs, and without patch notes, this could have been considered a bug as well. Most of the stuff Morrow posts aren't actually bugs or are already well known issues. He just likes to complain![]()
I can see all of these being strong for sure. He's all-in on totems and dragons. Even though these are his top 10 TGT cards, it doesn't necessarily mean totems and dragons will become tier 1 decks. Patron will likely remain #1 and other strong decks could still shine: Eboladin/Control Warrior/Handlock/etc. These are just the best of the TGT cards in his opinion. Should be fun !Wildcard: Mysterious Challenger ( paladin epic: 6/6/6, battlecry: put one of each secret from your deck into the battlefield)
- Thunder Bluff Valiant (shaman rare: 5/3/6, Inspire: give your totems +2 attack)
- Totem Golem (shaman common: 2/3/4, overload 1)
- Twilight Guardian (nuetral epic: 4/2/6, battlecry: if you're holding a dragon gain +1 attack and taunt)
- Tuskarr Totemic (shaman common: 3/3/2, battlecry: summon any random totem)
- Rhonin (mage legendary: 8/7/7, deathrattle: add 3 copies of arcane missiles to your hand)
- Varian Wrynn (warrior legendary: 10/7/7, battlecry: draw 3 cards put any minions you drew directly into the battlefield)
- Darnassus Aspirant (druid rare: 2/2/3, battlecry gain an empty mana crystal. Deathrattle: lose a mana crystal)
- Alexstrasza's Champion (warrior rare: 2/2/3, battlecry: if you're holding a dragon gain +1 attack and charge)
- Argent Horserider (neutral common: 3/2/1, charge and divine shield)
- Master Jouster (neutral rare: 6/5/6, battlecry: "joust" gain taunt and divine shield)
Are you joking? And it's not so nerfed that it becomes unplayable.
It's pretty clear this was done to prevent synergy with a warlock card that benefits from discards.Gotta love stealth changes. I guess it makes sense since Fel Reaver has never done fatigue? Most ramp druids don't even play sunwalker anymore.Well I've been on the fence with Master Jouster myself mainly because Sunwalker is used in Ramp druid already and +1/+1 would be a huge buff. Basically as he says, anything with 6 health is a big deal. I don't think he'll be played much but I can see him taking Sunwalker spot in Ramp Druid and it will be super annoying.
Really, those warlock decks are dead right now because of so much face pally which has a 75% win rate over all it's variants.I have the impression that standard control warrior is still played more than patron in the ladder and maybe this has to do with patron being a bit difficult to be played well by the average player and also the resurgence of handlock and its variants.
That was never my experience. Not sure why you would think patron warrior is favored over 60% against a deck that usually has no minions on board, or only minions 3 attack and over and has a ton of removal with plenty of time to draw into combo pieces. Also, the people who put together the power rankings at liquidhearth agree that oil rogue is favorable to patron and patron is unfavorable to oil rogue. It does not, in fact Patron warrior is over 60% wins over Oil.
