I guess it is consistent in a way if milling into a full hand triggers deathrattles, but the wording seems vague at best for the players IMO. Just doesn't seem like a discarded card should be considered a minion that "died this game".Milled cards in Magic go to the graveyard, I don't understand what your complaint is here.
A murloc that is overdrawn/discarded can still be summoned by Anyfin Can Happen : hearthstoneI still don't believe it works like that. Make a video of it pls.
Magic has cards that function exactly like deathrattle (X happens if this creature dies), and they have to be in play too. There is no inconsistency here because Hearthstone doesn't reference the graveyard. If Anyfin was a Magic card, it would say something like 'Return the top 7 Murlocs from your graveyard to the battlefield'. The only actual difference between the way Anyfin works in Hearthstone and the way it would work in Magic is that reanimation spells in Magic literally bring the card itself back into play, whereas Anyfin is creating brand new Murlocs from scratch.I guess it is consistent in a way if milling into a full hand triggers deathrattles
Yea I thought it was April Fools, but it's real. I mean like... without Quartermaster it doesn't matter if your dudes become murlocs and if you tech in Warleaders then you can get some 3/3 dudes for favorable trades, but it won't work since Justicar won't let you summon 2 at a time and there's no easy way to get multiple 1/1 murlocs at a time. The 5 dudes spell won't summon murlocs either. Is that the first April Fools card?
Except a 1/3 trades favorably with every single played one drop. That's why 1/3s for 1 are amazing and a big part of why people were so excited about Sir Finley at first. For standard it might be viable. Yeah you're giving up on being able to use Justicar, but being able to respond to 1 drops immediately is pretty handy, especially with Zombie Chow rotating out. Could also run a warleader or two as a pseudo Quartermaster for when you get a couple tokens to stick. It will definitely be worth experimenting with.I don't like the 1/3 stats either. Most good 1 drops can trade with 2 health 2 drops, like Abusive is 2/1 for example. A 1/3 loses to all good 2-drops, only trading evenly to 2/2's.
3/2 and 2/3s will win the trade every time.
