I'm very surprised the release will be the 26th since I always assumed it would have to start at the beginning of a Season, but the 26th is a Tuesday which is always the day new stuff is patched in, so I guess it makes sense they do it the Tuesday before the new Season begins.

That said, we have 3 weeks to go. 45 cards have been released with 89 still to go. That's a heck of a lot of cards yet to be seen.

Can't even have fun building theorycraft decks yet until we know the extent of the nerfs and see a good majority of the remaining cards.

Thank you Thijs for the new fun deck to play this month, without it I'm not sure I'd bother getting 5, shit is so mind-numbing.

Didn't they promise 2 expansions and 1 adventure every year going forward? ~3 months for WoG meta, ~2 months for whatever adventure meta, ~2 months + into next year for whatever expansion meta.

Anyone know when the preorder deal expires? Been meaning to purchase it through the Amazon coin deal, but I'm being extremely lazy.

Besides that its also very good anti aggro card, I think you'll see that card in every warrior's deck.

Not sure but I went ahead bought with coins, kind of a no brainer if you were going to buy a bunch of packs anyway, which I usually do. Stop being lazy, its just a few clicks on amazon then fire up the mobile device. Unless you can't spend the money for some reason yet.

Yeah I get the aggro tech part and don't begrudge that being an important aspect of balancing. But all I can think about are those faggoty fucking patrons.

Aoe's may be useful again though, ppl run less aoes because even if you spend 7 mana to flamestrike your opponent still has a 4/4, a 2 drop, and 2 1/1's. Hopefully without that ridiculousness aoe's will be more common hurting patron because usually one board clear after their shenanigans and they are out of steam.

And it trades evenly with all other 3 drops as long as it hits the board second. Can lose to 3/4s if you play first though. Definitely a solid card.

It makes up for losing deaths bite a little bit except you can't cheat it out a turn early. It's a fine card for not requiring warriors to start taking whirlwind again. Can't combo with gromm without emp. Lowers their max burst from 14 back to 10-12. Unless they use inner rage but most won't

Just download the amazon appstore with phone or whatever? I think the HS app has to be installed with the appstore first. I use my nexus tablet, so don't need kindle per se.

Additional thoughts on that card:

I like the card a lot for sure but I don't think it's OP or auto-include by any means. There's just way too many 3-drops for a Control Warrior. I can see the card included on occasion and definitely fits Patrons, but it can't be combo'd with Patron until turn 8 so Whirlwind/Revenge might be preferred.

With regard to Control warrior, right now you have Bash, Shield Block and Acolytes. That's already 6 cards at 3, not counting BGH either or Fierce Monkey. Bash is really strong as it kills the 2-3 health minions and combo's with Shield Slam nicely. Fierce Monkey is a decent card which is also anti-aggro and can't fit in the current package already.

Warriors are just so solid already at the 1-3 mana range that this card might be hard finding a slot. It's practically useless in a Control match too.
I think taking 1 mana Whirlwinds with the Armorsmith+Acolyte package would be more preferable again, barring any other new cards yet to be seen.

Where Warrior needs the most help is the 4-6 mana range (Death's Bite / Belcher / Shieldmaiden).
Losing Death's Bite is really huge. They need a weapon option that deals over 3 damage. Arcanite just isn't good enough, and is too late at 5 mana and Gorehowl comes into play way too late. King's Defender is the only other option but it's 3 attack, too slow to kill 4 health 3+drops. So a 3-4 drop 4 damage Weapon is high on the priority list. Still lots of cards to see for Warrior so we can almost guarantee to see lots of cards in the 4+ range still.

It doesn't HAVE to be turn eight, if you have any leftover patrons from a turn before you play this and spawn more while damaging your enemy's dudes AND throwing a decent stat body on board. Also combos well (and cheaper if you want to look at it as a single turn) with Berserker.

That card doesn't mean much for patron considering how expensive it is. The loss of death's bite is hitting patron super hard. No more pre-paid whirlwind affect means you can't combo on turn 5 without coin, and patron + ghoul is 8 mana. Still a great card and will probably replace revenge next year when BRM cycles out. Might find a spot this year, I don't even run acolyte in my list.
