what priest aoe does 4?, DK anduin kills 5+ and now they have psychic scream that will fill your deck with 5/5s

basically you only play it against other mid/control, too slow for aggro, and every mid/control will have AoE to clear
Circle with Auchenai I'd assume, not sure if it's played right now but it was a few weeks ago when I watched some tournaments in some variations of priest.

They almost 100% will introduce a Neutral minion now. Calling it as a 5 Mana, 3/4, Silence your Opponents weapon.

Really crazy weapon... I could see playing all 3 enchantments with this, seems really annoying and crazy, especially since enchantments can be used with auctioneer. Poison x1, lifesteal x1 and 2x deadly seems ideal.

Does seem like blade flurry could see play again... loading up too much around this weapon might be bad, but if only rogue had a way to draw through their deck quickly.

Weapon enchantments as seen on reddit:.

So here's a list of all Rogue-accessible cards which attach a static enchantment to your weapon (Poisoned Blade not included):

  • Deadly Poison ( +2 Attack )
  • Leeching Poison ( Lifesteal )
  • Envenom Weapon ( Poisonous )
  • Southsea Squidface ( +2 Attack )
  • Naga Corsair ( +1 Attack )
  • Captain Greenskin ( +1/+1 )

  • Buccaneer ( +1 Attack )

  • Goblin Auto-Barber ( +1 Attack )
  • Tinker's Sharpsword Oil ( +3 Attack )

Also this weapon is an anti fatigue card... you can draw it, equip it, attack, and then hero power to put it back in deck.

So mill rogue gets stronger too

Yeah, I love rogue, may be a day 1 craft for me. Lifesteal on a 5-7 attack weapon mid/late game adds a lot of staying power to rogue. Weapon fits perfectly with dk Valeera too.

Definitely day 1 for me. I was wondering what would encourage me to finish getting golden for rogue and they just made it. Incredibly powerful in wild and definitely an auto-include in standard too.

Interesting card. Good early game for combating aggro. Works with lots of other cards, and hero power. Combined with Mayor Noggenfogger and Bring it On! you could do some late game shenanigans to hit face for huge amounts. And getting to late game with control warrior isn't difficult.

For instance, play the Mayor at some point late game. Mayor likely survives, since he's hard to remove due to his effect, especially with other minions on board. If opponent has 1 or 2 minions, next turn play bring it on! twice and this weapon. If the opponent has an empty board, play Leeroy or that 2 mana card that spawns raptors + Bring it On and you have a 50%-33% chance to hit face. This is much easier to pull off than the old setup with fool's bane + heroic strike, and if it doesn't work, you still got 10-20 armor out of the deal. Downside is you discounted your opponent's minions, but you might be able to mitigate that by watching how many cards your opponent has.

yea I wouldn't be surprised to see this+noggen package for the chance to outright win game, not so different to playing Yogg.

You could also Dead man's hand the mayor, the weapon, and bring it on! in case you think it will fuck up for a chance to try it all again. I could see this being good vs priest, since you'll have a hard time keeping up with priest's threats, but you have a good chance to end the game at any time once the mayor comes down, and you can keep trying it indefinitely with dead man's hand.

... I really don't see that rogue weapon being so good.

If you're basing your deck around it, you have to:
  1. Get it in your hand before the buffs, else waste the buffs on your other weapons/hero power
  2. waste time equipping it and buffing it
  3. Use it to kill the opponent's minions, taking ridiculous face damage all the while because your opponent WILL be playing stuff.
  4. Then it gets shuffled into your deck, and you only have one copy, so you then have to wait until you DRAW it again to do any more with it.
it's so fucking slow you're gonna die before you can do anything amazing with it, and half your deck is filled with bullshit you can't use unless you have it up.

Good point, many rogue lists since the game started have run a lot of "dead" cards in their hand though. You'd have to draw your deck quickly for sure though, might have to be auctioneer rogue.

I had a lot of similar thoughts initially. The fact that it is 1 mana makes it inherently playable though. I think it guys most in a miracle type deck where the cheap buffs spells also cycle with gadget

It's a 1 mana weapon so playing it isn't a big deal. It can enable combos

The rogue weapon is shit. Auctioneer is gone in 4 months and even with him it doesn't fit what the deck tries to do. Any other deck doesn't cycle enough to reliably find it more than once.
