A fucking Rogue just swashburgled out a World Tree on turn 5 versus my druid deck that doesn't even run World Tree. Feels bad man.

I agree. The card states that it "Starts" dormant. It does not say that "When it comes into play, it goes dormant". You are bringing a copy of a current state of a creature into play. If you buffed The Darkness, the creature would also copy those buffs as well as the current state of the creature. This should be a bug and not as intended.

So here is a question. If you used the rogue card that makes a 1/1 copy and puts it into your hand and you play it, would it come out as a 1/1 or a 20/20 when the candles were drawn. It should be a 1/1.

I think priest gets in these spots every few years. They have so much removal options right now for early and late game and Shadow Visions means they don't even need to run two of them right now.

Spirit Lash, tiny potion/horror, duskbreaker, shadow words, psychic scream...

On top of big priest being a huge fuck you deck if they get Barnes out and have resurrection in hand. Their five kinds of fucking res too...

"My hand is too full!" (with Death Knight cards)

Raza and cubelock made me switch to Jade druid tech'd against them thanks Mryagut. He plays double mire keeper over Wraith but there's enough agro I prefer wraith for the time being.

Also random complaint, Why the fuck does an opponent discovering cards have no option to be hidden. its very frustrating when im trying to count outs and can't see their mana left for the turn.

Cube lock is probably one of the worst decks to play against in the history of this game

Ooze and they lose man. I don't mind this deck because they're basically required to get the weapon out or they're fucked.

The deck literally can't work without it.

I don't play at a high level but I've watched plenty of cube locks not even toss down the weapon. Especially if your demon recruiter pulls a voidlord out of your deck and you can just cube/pact that. It seems most necessary when your idea is to cube a doomguard, though.

rank 3, then down to 5, then back to 4.

I don't even know what to play to grind the last few days.

I feel like this should not work like this at all

This also happens if you evolve into it, which completely wrecks you as Shaman trying to use Unstable Evolution as the dormant creature suddenly can't be targeted anymore.

Got to rank 1 with a cube lock and might make legend but it really depends on the meta and Christmas has kept me busy. My build isn't really as combo-centric as the rank 5-1 meta is primarily mirrors, dragon priest, secret mage, and paladin, all of which the doomguard combo is non-essential. The primary win condition is basically just out-valuing everything and having the best anti-aggro tools, some builds run N'zoth, just because you win the mirror that way.

Killing the weapon beats the deck only if you're a Raza priest and you will win the long game because you have a OTK and you removed my OTK. I can still possibly win with Rin in that case but it's just a tossup weather I can blow up your deck before you draw your essential pieces. Either way the matchup is horrible priest just beats up warlock pretty bad.
rank 3, then down to 5, then back to 4.
If you can sorta/kinda see the meta at that time of day the best decks to grind with are either cubelock or big priest in my experience. They're the most polarized win percentage decks (warlock destroys aggro, big priest destroys everything else).

Creeper has me at my wits end. The idea that the game now has 2 neutral 7 drops, one punishes you for clearing minions the other punishes for leaving stuff up near turn 7 is frustrating.

Can't bring myself past 5. The only great deck I want to play is Raza priest. I'd love Cubelock but don't have the primary cards for it. I'm not feeling the Satellite decks because they are just another tempo deck which runs solely on RnG. Fuck that shit. Just biding my time until I have the dust for cube(weapon, both cubes). There are 3-4 versions of Raza I can run which keeps me from being too bored(barely).

I didn't get shit in almost 40 packs. No Cube, no Rin, nothing. Haven't played in over a week now and I don't think I'll be going back. Just too much of a hurdle if you only started recently to put together any decent deck worth anything without spending a lot of money.

I don't have much desire to get rank 5, and I'm like rank 6 or 7. I dunno, if rotation doesn't make me enjoy the game I might be done. Especially if we still haven't seen ranked changes

I've opened maybe 10-12 packs with spare gold from dailies because I rage-quit soon after the Lich King stuff was released - I fucking hated those solo challenges.

So in the last two packs I bought, all 4 white cards were repeats. After a dozen packs. One pack even had 2 copies of the same regular card.

I know this is not much of a statistical base, but trying to casually get cards in this game is bullshit. Always was, but the last 2 expansions seemed a lot worse. I saved up for around 50 packs last expansion and managed to cobble together a taunt druid deck I hated.....

I think it might be time for another long, long Hearthstone hiatus. Grinding is fucking awful once again. Random bullshit and Priest just suck to play against. No two ways about it.

Yup, really need a change to ranked ladder.

I ended up getting a $20 gift card, so bought packs... making it the only money I spent this new expansion.

I also disenchanted a lot of dupes I've had collected over the years and have been able to make a couple meta decks: Spiteful Priest & Cube Warlock

--

I've been playing Spiteful the most. Gaining ranks pretty easily. At 8 right now, might get 5 just on accident. I'm not particularly trying hard, just playing on a tablet in the evening.

--

Biggest issue I see right now is that the meta decks are EXTREMELY powerful. Which seems to happen every time we get this many cards in the system.

--

Seems like Aggro Paladin & Murloc Paladin are the top winrate decks right now, even though playrate is about half of Priest & Warlock. Priest & Warlock combined makeup 39% of the ladder. Hunter/Mage/Rogue/Paladin combine for 48% of the ladder. The remaining 13% is Warrior/Shaman/Druid.

Winrates: The Paladin decks are showing 57%, aggro druid/Spiteful Priest/Tempo Rogue at 55% and Cubelock is actually sitting at 52%

--

It's a minion battle game. You're not seeing any combos outside Cubelock, and even then it's not even the main win condition. You aren't seeing any real gameplan or strategic play. It's just play the biggest dudes and clear your opponents biggest dudes. It's a big RNG game of who gets their Creeper/Bonemares drawn & played and who wrests board control first.

For Spiteful Priest it's about drawing the AoE dmg dragon in time to clear the board.
For Aggro it's about getting your captain & Creepers

Yawn.

--

I look forward to the rotation, so far it's always proven to be the best meta with the most diversity, but at this point I really yearn for a new ladder or ranked mode.

Next Rotation removes:
Whispers of the Old Gods, One Knight in Karazhan, and Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.

Key decks destroyed:
Jades / Raza / Kazakus
Pirate Package
Pirate Warrior
Evolve Shaman
Aggro Druid
Secret Hunter
Secret Mage
Murloc Paladin
Dragon Priest
Big Priest

Bonemare will still exist, aggro will still exist, but removing the pirate package from every deck is going to have some big repercussions: does Creeper still get played?

Cubelock doesn't lose much at all
Spiteful Priest loses key dragon cards: Drakonid & Nethersprite... possibly can replace. The Spiteful package is still playable without dragons I think.

Warrior and Shaman already the worst classes and will lose a lot of their best cards

Aggro Hunter doesn't lose much other than secrets & pirates. Already a strong class becomes even stronger most likely.

Deathknights still strong, might see some new ones work
Quests might make a comeback
