My god they actually listened somewhat. I am actually shocked right now. Not sure if Doomguard needed shelving but... whatever. Divine Favor and Naturalize made more sense. Mainly because having such an effective removal to trigger stuff at 1 mana is just so strong.

Secondly because if Paladin needs card draw they have no reason to use their other card draw options really. So I guess it will give the developers more options. Genn and Baku getting shelved are great. When it says synergies does that mean that every single odd/even card is also getting shelved?

Yes the synergy cards are going too:

As a result, Gloom Stag, Black Cat, Glitter Moth, and Murkspark Eel will also be rotated. All of those cards will provide a full dust refund. You will also be able to keep your copies – no need to disenchant them!

On one hand this sounds interesting and has potential. On the other they announced "Specialist" and delayed(meaning never) a tournament mode.

If they were going to HoF Genn and Baku all along, why the previous round of savage nerfs? This just reinforces my belief that the devs don't have a clue.

The best meta I've ever seen during Un'Goro was just a fluke, the game's never going to return to that level of quality because they don't know how to do it again.

New Keyword: Twinspell. After casting, receive a 2nd copy of the spell into your hand. (allows you to cast a spell up to 2 times, doesn't need to be same turn).

Forbidden Words seems stupidly strong btw.

Can't go beyond a 30 card deck so one spell now counts as two!

That druid one is especially retarded so now they have to be awfully careful about cards that can reduce spell cost. They would also need to have more board clears because if you spend some board clear on that 8 drop and then it just drops again on the next turn. Good times. Nomi card is dumb looking. But fun. Need another card like Hemet that blows your deck so you can drop that early for a massive tempo swing.

Rafaam should have been generic rather than warlock only. That would have been the new "fun" legendary for the set. Kripp had a video a while back about how they are making more of the fun cards like that class specific rather than generic, which causes the overall cost to the player to go up. I had never thought about the economics like that so it was interesting to watch.
