I think there is some kind of bug with it after the ladder reset. For beta 1, and the first few days of beta 2 I was getting them directly at 4 30 cst.

Ever since the patch with the ladder reset. Sometimes I get them in the evening, and sometimes at 4 30, if I re log in.
So i'm not sure what time the reset is happening now.

Oh dang, I'm playing this Druid. He's out of cards, at 9 life. I'm at 2 life, got a heal. This is going to the bitter end! He dropped 2 huge treants, 8/8's, but I had saved 2 consecrates, and had lots of minions. Took em out! This is intense!!!!!!!!!!!

omg I can't believe it! he won! ahhhhhh

I gotta say the game is fun, until you run into the guy playing with tricked out blue / purple cards of game destruction when all you want is to get your daily quest done. I have no idea what the hell this person was doing in my lowbie bracket but I just tossed the towel in after he'd cast the 4th secret in 7 rounds.

Sounds like he just got done finishing his daily with a class he has never played and dropped a ton of rank doing so and now he is back to his regular deck hehe.

I wish rank was tracked at a class level =p

League of Legends is also free. I've spent more money on that game than the 8 years I played WoW.

Really? I don't think you have. If you had the cheapest WoW sub for 8 years, paying for 6 month chunks (or including the fact that for the first 2 years this option wasn't even available). You would have spent 4160 not including your states sales tax. I don't think there's possibly a way to spend that much on LoL. Seeing as how ~1000 dollars would get your literally every champion + cosmetic + whateverelse you could want.

BTW 8 years * 2 six month subs a year * 78 = $1248

Unless there is a secret Legends server I'm not aware of!

I don't think 1k would get you all the skins alone either, let alone champions/runepages/IP boosts for runes. Champs used to be 500-600$ total, they tend to readjust prices as they add new stuff so it stays within that price range, as last time I looked like 2months ago it was still 600(and it was 600 when I stopped playing like 2years ago). Pretty terrible estimate. That said, 8years of wow is still quite a lot of money, assuming that's not 1month sub every patch for the past 6years, which is like 4-5months of sub every year instead.

Yeah good call, I was (obviously) multiplying by weeks rather than months. Still though ... I don't think it's possibly to spend that much on LoL.

Is there not a way to earn gold besides dailies? I could of sworn there was a way to grind wins for gold.

edit - weird i just got 10 gold for 3 wins it didnt pop for me before

hehe yeah. With a rate of 10 min per game and a 50% win ratio you are looking at 15 cents an hour of winnings =/

After about 6 hours of playing today for the first time i figured out I'm fucking terrible at this game, i played a handful of arenas and the best i managed to do was 3 wins. My win rate was a ton better in constructed, but thats probably because i was only playing other noobs.

Not necessarily newbs, arena and free play have two different type of play styles.

How many arenas have you done? Drafts can vary wildly, so you may have gotten slightly unlucky if it has been just a few.

Personally I've done 2 so far, both times I lost 2 games right off the bat, first time I ended in 2 wins, 2nd time I pulled in 5 wins. I personally thought I had a better draft the first time.

I think I went 1-3 and then 5-3 and then stopped queing for arena because boy do I fucking suck.
