Whats the token druid deck?

Played that taunt shaman deck a little tonight, went 3/4 in casual. Lost the 1 game to a priest that got a ton of card draw off a turn 1 nsc because I didn't have any early removal. Would have won that game had he not had just enough for lethal, I had 4 minions on the board, 4 cards in hand, 9 cards left in deck and his very last card was a holy fire and I had exactly 5hp remaining. Only have 1 earth shaman so I subbed a faceless manipulator and I think that way is probably better anyway. Was able to hold onto the coin one game and played hogger behind a wall of minions already and faceless'ed it the same turn. Also subbed one windfury for ancestral spirit and thinking about replacing it with bloodlust for the same role because you seem to have a lot of minions on the board with this deck. Injured blademaster + ancestral healing is supper effective at any stage of the game really, its a 4/7 with taunt for 3 mana, sure it is 2 cards, but silence will only remove the taunt so it'll almost always require 2 cards to remove it.

It's focused on early/mid game board control into a savage roar finish using the tokens generated by Violet Teacher and Imp Master, but can also hold its own in long games due to 2x Anicents of Lore and Gadgetzan Auctioneer.

Mulligan hard for 2 and 3 drops against almost every class. Against aggro warlock keep a swipe and any claws/wrath/2 or 3 drop minions, and against aggro in general keep the claw/wrath. Always keep innervate no matter what the matchup is, and if your hand has innervate completely change your mulligan strategy, ie: keep 4 and 5 drops that you plan to innervate.

You can substitute an Avatar of war in there if you want.

It's a cool deck, but I find it very inconsistent.

It's trying to be a Shaman Bloodlust deck, but it lacks the ability to make totems for consistency (as well as Windfury and Rockbiter/Flametongue for Leeroy)

I've tried token decks on both druid and shaman. It seemed like each game either I would have multiple tokens out, with no roar/lust in hand, or something simple like a swipe, consecration, etc would ruin my plans.

Shaman is good because it isn't dependent on bloodlust. Flametongues, Unbound Elemental, Fire Elemental, Leeroy, Windfury on any of the above with Rockbitters, they all amount to a ton of damage really quick.

Had enough cards to make a semi decent and cheap control hunter deck, which is a bit different than all the aggro hunter decks, and it's gotten me up to rank 13, which is the highest i've ever been on ranked. I've been able to deal with legendaries like ragnaros and others with this deck fairly well cuase it has alot of removal.

Hunters Mark x1
Arcane Shot x2
Timber Wolf x2
Explosive Trap x2
Freezing Trap x1
Unleash the Hounds x2
Loot Hoarder x2
Scavenging Hyena x1
Starving Buzzard x2
Eaglehorn Bow x1
Animal Companion x2
Deadly Shot x1
Kill Command x2
Multi-Shot x2
Chillwind Yeti x2
Sen'jin Shieldmasta x1
Tundra Rhino x2
Savannah Highmane x2

What do you guys think? I was thinking about subbing out 1 multi-shot for an explosive shot if I ever get that card, maybe putting a houndmaster in there for some more taunt, and possible another deadly shot.

I think the highlights so far is removing Ragnaros and other big cards with the hunters mark / arcane shot combo.. although it's rare I still have that combo of cards in my hand by that time in the game, but it's pretty cool.

Yeah, I played a similar druid deck before and felt the same way, its just too inconsistent.

This game is sure fun, but I must be really awful, because I can copy some of these top decks and I still can't get above rank 17. I can't imagine there is that much difference in skill but apparently there is!

Anyone know what happens when you give taunt to a stealthed minion? I played a Defender of Argus with my Ravenholt Assassin today and noticed that he remained stealthed and gained taunt, but I had to finish my opponent before I could see what might happen (worried they had either a pyroblast or a couple o' fireballs). I figure either the taunt or the stealth must be ignored, otherwise it would have an obvious game breaking effect. I guess I could not be lazy and try to create a situation against AI...

Edit: Kay, I just did it myself. The taunt is ignored until the stealth goes away, for anyone curious and didn't already know.

This type of deck is gaining popularity right now, possible additions I would suggest: adding 2 stranglethorn tigers instead of the tundra rhinos, *definitely* add that second deadly shot, no way would I go with just one for this type of deck, and put in 2 houndmasters.

Yeah midrange decks are super strong atm. I just started playing handlock and even after watching Reynad play it many times, I'm still blown away with how well it performs.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way, haha. Thought I was being all broken when I first did that like they would be on lockdown unable to touch anything then he goes straight to my face. I could have gone to his face after taunting too. Makes sense, it would be stupid any other way.

Decided to play a match against the wife - the positioning in hand vs. how it displays on an opponent is fricking weird. We've got our monitors side by side - and you'd expect First Card Left on my screen to correspond to First Card Right on hers - but it doesn't seem that (or even the reverse) seems to be completely random how the engine displays them.

Seems a very odd choice to bother showing them, but almost just randomize how they're displaying them. Half the time she'd be playing a card on a side and it would display on my screen as a middle card being played.

On G2 now, and still can't make rhyme or reason of it - anyone know how it works? Doesn't seem to be rarity or set based either - just seems completely random vs. Draw Order for how it displays to yourself/her.

That might be done deliberately to ensure people can't tell if they played a card they just drew or one they had already.

Of course, she might also be hacking. Best examine her stream frame by frame.

I'm not concerned about it, just a puzzle to figure out - will reboot my client and check again after dinner - maybe my client was just glitching.

Is this about right for Handlock/Giants/whatever you call it? Cobbled it together from what I saw in streams + the few times I played against it
