Forgive the graininess, it was shrunk down so I resized it. Anyway, that's the deck Veev was using for his final push to legendary. It inspired me to pull the dark irons from my casual priest deck and replace them with alchemists. Don't have Tink, Pagle, or the Cabal priests to be able to directly copy the deck though.

Annnnd right as I start my 8th game my computer crashes and I get a loss on turn 3. I then immediately lose to a mage who coins pint-sized on turn one, plays Bloodmage and mirror image on turn 2 and then proceeds to wreck everything I drop with direct damage from there on out. Fuck.
And immediately lose to a second mage for 7-3.

In other news, mages are bullshit.

Running clerics with that set up doesn't really work out. There's nothing to back them up in the early game, so they could only be used for card draw in the late game, and even then they probably won't draw much.

The way I have it set up, you're really only playing Mind Vision or Thoughsteal until turn 4, otherwise you're just healing yourself up unless you get a good card to play from their deck. Then by turn 4 you're maxed out and can drop your Giant or Drake or even MCT/Shadow Madness if the board is favorable. If I get an early Pagle out that'd be great, but I think I have only gotten him out a few times in the ~20 games I've played so far. He's actually one of the spots I'm thinking about cutting as I tweak it.

I do agree it would be nice to have more than 9 decks.

About skill, there is more than would appear required. One of the biggest things I frequently see people miss, especially in constructed, is knowing when NOT to play something.

Well, let's discuss that because I feel like I play a few of those situations incorrectly.

For instance, it's early game, you have 4 mana and a blood knight sitting in your hand. But there are no bubbles out, but you are playing a paladin(and any other hero could have a sunwalker). You have nothing else to play. Play the blood knight or not? I've had similar debates with BGH. And almost always, I end up playing the card because I figure getting the minion out there and getting even one attack on the opponent early than playing the card later when it was possibly more useful is still the better move.

Depends entirely on what your hero power is and what the board state is, but with blood knight my general feeling is you get the 3/3 out. Smart players generally won't just leave an argent protector bubble hanging out there, which means you're hanging on to it for the chance of hitting a scarlet crusader, silvermoon guardian, sunwalker, or argent commander. Sunwalker and Commander are both rares, so you can't hold on to your blood knight hoping to see one. Silvermoon Guardian isn't a super common pick, which means you're looking at catching a scarlet crusader.

Blood Knight is a solid epic pick because it's a 3/3 for 3, and once or twice an arena run you get a massive tempo swing out of him. But generally you just play him as a 3/3 for 3.

The game does take a lot of skill, but I believe there is a wall you hit where everyone's skills are basically the same. Then it comes down to how rock/paper/scissors the game is.

Deck building is the only thing I feel takes allot more thought then anything, but even that comes down to knowing the cards well enough that you can construct a deck based off what the best percentage ,and synergy's of those cards are.
So even that has a wall at some point where everyone is basically at the same level of deck building, and then it once again comes down to rock/paper/scissor.
Even in constructed I feel like your biggest skill is knowing what metas are out there, and what time of day the majority are played. Then playing the decks with highest amount of success against those metas.

I think I mentioned this about a month ago, and got a lot of negative feedback, but the game needs to change at least once a month to keep the community happy.
Add new cards, or nerf/ buff cards, both will work.

Really the only reason I play anymore is because every Season has been different from each other based off the changes on the cards themselves.

If he's got nothing on board, I probably save the Blood Knight and hero power pass, same with BGH. But it really depends on which hero, what your next few turns look like, and arena/constructed. In arena I'm more prone to just drop BGH unless I'm playing against a Druid. In arena I almost always save Blood Knight, because people value Divine Shield pretty highly on things like Argent Squire, Silvermoon Guardian, Scarlet Crusader, and Sunwalker. It's situational though, if I didn't have a clear play for the next turn or two I'd probably play to not fall too far behind.

So I am conflicted, I got a hell of a pack from a 100 gold quest pull. 1 common, 2 rares, 1 epic, and 1 golden legendary Onyxia.

Anyways now I am conflicted, Onyxia is generally crap when it comes to legendary, and the fact that it is golden means I can disenchant for 1600 (basically get me a useful legendary), but it is a golden. I love golden cards =\

Thoughts? DE because who gives a shit about golden, or nooooo dont, because it is gold!

Keep cause golden!

I think when it comes to Legendary you will regret DE'ing. My first ever Legendary was a Golden Gruul and I've kept it. Onyxia isn't *that* bad really, works well within Druid/Shaman deck with Savage Roar or Bloodlust and Im sure some other decks can benefit.

Yeah, I would keep the goldens. Ranked means absolutely nothing right now for rewards, and Arena levels the playing field on what cards people have.

In a month you will have every card you will need.

In my opinion it depends how hardcore you play. If you play daily, do a lot of arena for card packs, you will eventually have everything and will regret any golds you DE'ed in the past. If you just play casually, using gold to buy packs and not really play much arena, you won't ever come close to having all golds anyway, so go ahead and trade in your golden onyxia for the card of your choice.

Came back after a month or so break. Have these lazy fucks still not fixed the bugs in this game? No love for this dev team whatsoever.

Play ranked mostly, and I play casually. Mainly do quests, and on Sundays I do my heavy playing just climbing through the ranks. I've got some useful legendaries so far (rags, king krush, ysera), but I am still missing a few more I want. I think I will sit on my first golden legendary then

Definitely keep Golden Legendaries, without question.

Think I'm going to toy around with an odd Priest deck
