Hey can we get away from all the 'petulant children yelling at each other' stuff and just, you know, talk about Hearthstone?
I also wouldn't reroll the "3 victories" 40g quest. It's just too flexible.Funny y'all are talking about Alex - I just had a pack draft 2 blues (Gadgetzan Aunctioneer + Gold Counterspell), Alex, Ice Barrier, and Loot Hoarder. Definitely my best to date, it's a shame I'm not a fan of the Mage, put Alex and Loot Hoarder in each of my decks.
Question for you min/maxers: should I be rerolling all my 40g quests even when just starting out? I know to max gold I should not complete them and reroll as often as possible, but so far I've had shit luck; I think I just want someone to tell me if I can grab that gold or to just STFU and wait it out.

The true min/max is not even playing the game if you have a suboptimal quest unless you are capped at 3.
I hate you all.Yea, always roll a 40 to see if you get a 60/100
I don't think Hammer of Wrath is really that great of a card for Paladin. Paladin is all about board domination, not card advantage. Hammer of wrath costs too much mana for the effect. When you play Truesilver you kill one of their dudes, next turn you kill another one of their dudes...for 0 mana AND this allows you to play another creature. You're now ahead by 2 card on the board. This is where Paladin wants to be at. Hammer of Wrath is by no means bad, but people treat it like it's Fireball for Paladins, no way.I just went 10 wins on Paladin, it's my best streak yet. I was at 10-1 and told myself I would screencap at 11 wins but then lost 2 straight. The deck was mainly:
2x Truesilver
3x Consecrate
2x Equality
1x Sword of Justice
3x Hammer of Wrath
3 might be excessive but 2 is reasonable. I probably took the 3rd due to no other good choices. I believe I was offered it 4x actually...I don't think Hammer of Wrath is really that great of a card for Paladin. Paladin is all about board domination, not card advantage. The green ones should net me at least a %15 increase in my winrate!New card back unlocks announced:imgur: the simple image sharer
I disagree. I'm never happy to be playing hammer of Wrath before turn 7 or 8, except in the rare circumstance where I can kill of a 4 drop with a token + hammer, while still having a relevant creature on my side.3 might be excessive but 2 is reasonable. The card advantage is good, the direct removal is good, and I actually won 2 games by doing a Hammer of Wrath to the face.
It's a pretty good card imo. It's almost like frostbolt except it draws instead of freezes. Freeze is probably considered superior but card advantage cant be overlooked.
The 3 games I lost were primarily due to never drawing my equality and/or consecrates... ever. I was down to 9 cards left in 1 game and still had 2 equality and 2 consecrate and the opponent had a board over-extended just itching to get wiped. Oh well!
I agree its more of a late game card.I disagree. I'm never happy to be playing hammer of Wrath before turn 7 or 8, except in the rare circumstance where I can kill of a 4 drop with a token + hammer, while still having a relevant creature on my side.

I also like it better in arena, might not help with tempo early game, but removing an opponent's card and gaining a card is rather advantageous in arena.I agree its more of a late game card.
