The problem with Pirates is while they synergize well with weapons they don't tend to synergize well with each other. Southsea Captain is just a worse Murloc Warleader and there's no Murloc Seer counterpart. This means pirates are very fragile early game and to get the most out of the Captain they need to survive the first few turns which isn't the case most times.
Paladin tended to be able to handle a pirate deck the best since with divine shields and Redemption you'd be able to keep a few alive by the time a Captain pops up. But now since they nerfed Redemption the Southsea Deckhand isn't even as useful as it used to be for early game board control.
So if you want to use pirates, use only a few. Greenskin, maybe a parrot, and a Raider or two; the rest just don't match up to their Murloc counterparts very well.

I may have overdone it. Was watching TV at the same time and didn't even realize the count was getting so high and once I saw I had about 5, the next 2 were lined up with other 6+ mana cost creatures so had no choice. This should be interesting. Too bad I didn't get a few healers.

Never mind that they make plenty of cash and people actually spend lots of money, you didn't *have* to pay anything so screw you. Support is expensive and everyone that can is dumping it as fast as they can get away with it. Sad but true.

Gotta be KIDDING me. Just had a game where down to 10 cards left I had drawn 0 Fire Elementals the entire game. 7 out of 10 of my last 10 cards were Fire Elementals. Wow RNG.
Yeah CS for HS is absolute shit. I've tried petitioning about losing prizes before or and been ignored. My account was fucked as a result of something CS had done and they kept logging in which would DC me and caused me to get 3 losses in Arena and I asked for a refund and was basically laughed at.

haha well I guess you can't have too many Fire Elementals. Got 12 wins with it pretty easily. First game I lost to a rush Hunter and the other without drawing a single Fire Elemental in the first 20 cards. The other games were steamrolled. Once you hit turn 5 or 6 it's a Fire Elemental every turn and is overwhelming. Haha that was fun. Never thought I'd get 7 of the fuckers. I shoulda picked Doomsayer instead of Mountain Giant tho. Doomsayer + Ancestral Spirit is lul.
So I finally accomplished 12-0 in the arena.... The Dream! Here's the sick deck I drafted. (Didn't bother to re-size them so I put them in spoilers).
And the insane reward I got... soooo happy right now.
A few highlights... had one of my Ragnaros on the board, guy faceless manip's it, his rag kills mine, he taunts me... next turn I play my other one and it kills his.
Never was able to get 2 rags on the board at the same time though.

Hunter bullshit has pretty much ruined playing ranked for me. Just cba dealing with that shit. Also it feels like at least 1/3rd of EU is playing it.
It's not really super OP but just fucking retarded. No matter if I win or lose I want to stab myself while playing that matchup.

Anyone making good progress on the Golden Heroes?
I figure you have to do around 15 wins a night on one hero to do it any timely fashion.
I wish it was a total versus one hero, because It's really forcing me to play one hero all the time now which is slowly burning me out.
That and the meta really hasn't changed in 3 monthes because of almost no significant nerfs, ugh.

Is there a decent guide to not sucking at Arena out there? I got my free try and went 0-3. I hear it's the best way to make money and packs compared to play mode, but it seems I suck hard at it.
