Pretty much the only thing I'm doing these days is making sure to complete my daily quests. I may play a couple extra games here and there but I've been too busy with Lightning Returns a few weeks ago and Dark Souls 2 now. Dark Souls 2 is simply really addictive and I love the game. As such, my Hearthstone interest has taken a drastic decline. Especially because I HATE playing against Hunter Rush. When I do play, a sample of games is all Hunter "to the face," Trump's Mage deck and Warlock "zoo."

I just had a Deadly Poison vanish in Arena. I cast it, it took the card, paid the mana, played the animation and the sound, but did not give my weapon +3 attack. =/

I demand a recount!

Had this weird bug happen in ranked today:

mTNv0Uy.jpg

He went first, played the Leper Gnome, then on my turn my Redemption card looked weird, like a back of a card was on top of it. I hovered over it and this Sen'jin Shieldmasta played. You'll notice that it is also buffed by a Raid Leader--neither of those two cards are in my deck at all.

I ended my turn but it stuck at the end of my turn. No timer ever appeared so I just left it for quite a while. After an hour or so I came back and I saw I was disconnected, so not sure what ultimately happened. Maybe there's a bug out there that lets you do stuff like this and people do it hoping the person will leave for the free win? I don't know.

It's a bug with the reconnect. Essentially, your new game reconnected into someone else's already-running game (or action queue; who knows what the specifics are)after someone DC'd. This bug manifests as all kinds of weird shit including cards that aren't yours, or even your class' in your opening hand, suddenly having 9 mana on turn 1 or cards already in play when the game starts. Whatever actions had been queued up while the DC'd person tried to reconnect appears in your game instead.

I honestly haven't seen many Hunters lately. I went from like ~14 to 6 the other day with handlock. Sure there was a few, but it was a decent variety although mostly agro types. A couple control warriors, a few priests, the occasional shaman, then your garden variety Paladin, Warrior, Warlock, and Hunter agro decks

I'm running a swamp ooze in my control warrior deck. I think in the current meta every control deck should run an ooze, because it's not worthless in the aggro lock matchup and aggro lock is the only commonly played deck without a weapon.

A 3/2 two drop isn't worthless at all, I don't see any drawback to everyone running one, the battlecry is just a bonus. Only problem is the temptation to hold it back when its your only early play. I have a Harrison Jones but I've never tried to run it because its just too blah.

Amaz started running Harrison Jones in place of Tinkmaster. It's rather hilarious against Jaraxxus or Doomhammer, but for the cost, a 5/4 that doesn't do anything else is hard to play in weaponless match-ups.

Yeah at first I was sad I had dusted Harrison twice, but then I realized I'd still rather have an ooze. 2 mana for a 3/2 is never a dead play, and that 2 mana means I can still easily do something else that same turn. If I'm playing against hunter, handlock, or warrior, I absolutely hold it for a weapon. Paladin depends on the board whether I use it on a truesilver or save it for Ashbringer.

Just got my first 12 win arena. Rewards were all gold (495) and a pack. I was a bit bummed, but this was the pack:

Not bad.

Got my best Shaman draft ever going right now. 2x Fire Elemental (first time I've had more than one despite getting to level 40 on Shaman purely through arena, ugh). A Lightning Storm, 2x Sea Giants, Al'Akir. Only thing I wish I had was Hex and a tiny bit more card draw.

Why were you bummed? The most I have ever had is 520 gold, and I often get less than 350. my last 12 run got me 235 gold and 2 gold rares. What were you expecting?
