In other words, Druid of the Claw in bear form is bad. Go cat form for your turn 5 play.

Disclaimer: not legend, but was watching Hafu get a coaching session on Druid vs Druid mirror match ups a few nights ago.

TY Neph I know you mean well, but that is pretty common knowledge. Of those 4 particular games, I got tbked twice, one of those games it was a series of unfortunate events and my only play turn 6 was a sunwalker so I had to gamble, still had plenty of opportunity to win the game, just didn't get the right card draw. I can't remember the other one, but I think it was something like I already felt behind and he had spell power + taunt totem on the board and didn't play a lightning bolt yet so I gambled playing a taunt druid because odds are much higher he'll have lightning bolt in his hand than tbk.

Of course I avoid playing a taunt minion I don't want killed around turn 6 if I can avoid it.

It's probably common knowledge, but it was new to me. Lots of discussion about tossing out Sunfury Protectors on empty boards and only buffing small minions with Argus, specifically bc of TBK.

It depends. TBK isn't a card to play around in certain match ups. And with Rogue dominating the meta, lots of people aren't running it at all. When ramp Druid was common it was in every deck though. Usually you can figure it out. That is the hard part about constructed. But yeah, you won't see most Handlocks buffing their giants with taunt vs Druids or control Warrior, unless they are sub 14/12 life, respectively, and have to.

FWIW played a bunch of games at rank 3 just now and only saw a TBK once.

Yeah, well I mean I don't play around tbk against miracle rogue just like I know you can play tbk anytime against them or warrior. It fits in nicely in mid-range druid so I've been running it awhile and I can say it feels great to have. The tremendous swing in tempo it brings far exceeds the down side of the few match-ups you can't use it to effect imo.

I just started playing last night, I'm really liking it so far. For some reason, even though I knew you could buy decks, I thought it was a pay game. IDK why I though that.

At any rate, I created a custom deck with a shit-ton of taunts. Every match after that my opponents also had a shit-ton of taunts. When I reverted to default deck my opponents also seemed to have a regular amount of taunts. Is this a known thing? Any advice on what is going on?

You're looking for patterns where they don't exist.

The game likes to troll you like that, you can face the same deck 10x in a row and if you play a different deck that counters it, inevitably the next match you face will be a different deck that counters the one you just picked.

Rank 2 hype, just need 8 consecutive wins for legend.

nice mures...I just haven't had time this season to grind. I'm at rank 4-5 and just stalled out...I'm sure I could break through, but haven't had the time.

What have you been running? I was rocking hand and miracle, but am tempted to switch back to something druid-ish. Lots of shaman decks recently and hand shreds them...Maybe I'll just stick with hand.

Haven't done arena in months, did a 3 win paladin deck last week, and over a period of a couple days i finally got my first 12 win arena run with a mage. 1 frost bolt, 0 fireballs, 0 draws, 12-1. Got my first lost at 10. When I think about some of the amazing decks that I've scrubbed out with, I can't believe this janky garbage got me my first 12 win. Even my curve was bad. Can't screenshot the whole thing, but here's the top half.

Ya I'm terrible at arena. My best is 6 wins and I usually get around 3 or so. If you aren't someone who manages 7+ wins every time it's not even worth it.

This game also needs more cards added really soon. It's getting incredibly stale.

Not exactly. It depends on your goals in game, how you want to spend your time, etc, but 3 wins is breaking even. You get the odd 50g reward from 2 wins too.

I had a bad arena week last week. Didn't do better than 6 wins for any deck, but today I had a 9 win deck (which is more normal for me). Arena is worth it because it teaches you the game, if you really aren't ever getting to ~7-10 wins, you aren't playing your cards correctly. I helped a friend out who had just started, coached him over Skype, and he got his first 7 win run. I didn't help him draft the deck, just play it. I find a lot of people actually draft decently well, only thing they need more help with is paying attention to curve, but they don't play around things, use cards efficiently, etc.

Was on vacation for the last two weeks. I came back and I'm seeing nothing but Priests and Shaman post hunter nerf...

I've also become absolutely terrible at the game because I can't win to save my life...
