Armorsmiths worked pretty well against that hero power of hers. I remember using Alex to heal myself and finishing her off with Grom.

Maexxna gave me major headaches, but just now beat her. Deck I went with was a druid deck loaded with removal, silence, heals, and 2 naturalize. Basically, I removed everything she played, took major advantage of things like ironbeak owl silence, keeper of the grove nuke, druid of the claw charge as reusable removal. Win condition was running her out of cards with naturalizes. I won with 30 life and 9 armor.

Those 4/4's are a fuckshow. But yeah, eventually he showed he's an idiot. I don't have Alex or the dust to craft it right now. I ended up beating him with crusher shaman. Took two shots at it but the second time my draws all came out nicely and he makes really stupid decisions with his minions when you get all the big taunts up on the board. Boosted lightning bolts and storms can help in that matchup too.
Just mulligan for all your 1 mana cards, and keep dumping them. The whole point is she cant do anything if you have no cards.

Mulligan for really cheap cards and just empty your hand. Her hero power does nothing when you don't have any cards in hand.

Went through the 5 normal modes on my European F2P account. Used a "budget" Zoo for the first two bosses and my "budget" Ramp Druid for the last one. Not hard at all considering the account is missing key cards.
First two with zoo. My original zoo deck had a ton of battlecry so I switched it all out and it was easy.

If you can get some buffs on a Gargoyle (in particular taunt), it's an easy match.

I just cheesed heroic maexxna so hard on accident. My plan was a bunch of traps and eaglehorn bow with some good charge and battlecries, but I ended up casting leeroy to fill her board with whelps when she already had those 1/1 spiders and a 0/2. So each turn after she couldn't cast anything while I got to leeroy, earthen ring, and hero power lol. I am guessing that would also work with warrior and druid hero powers pretty well too.

Is how I killed her on my pally. Consecrate => board full of 1/1 spiders. each turn I alternate between dropping guardian of the ancient kings + Farseer to heal for 10 or Guardian + Arcane golem to damage her. Took a bit but it was a sure win.

I had a very easy time on Faerlina with control warrior to be honest. The class challenges and regular mode were very easy. Heroic is another matter altogether.
