Playing a similar deck right now, crushes zoo unless terrible draw. This was after 2 armor smiths 2 other minions and an unstable ghoul went off.

Cool, not bad. I'm using Sludge Belcher and Sunwalker instead of Cairne and Sylvannas though, I never get any use out of the latter two anymore. Not sure how well it'll work in the lower ranks though. Really need more offence with Berserker I think.

In other news, they really need to fucking up the deck limit now that they have these heroic adventures that are deliberately designed to force you to make specific decks just to beat them. I'm getting real tired of deleting my decks just for a couple rounds. I've been skipping over spoilers and strats to beat the bosses and have been having lots of difficulty with both Heigen and Loatheb. Heigen has a soul fire in his hand *every single time* early game, so I can't set up a gargoyle or light well or anything. Am glad though, difficulty is what I wanted. I just don't want to keep deleting my decks.

Ya, I agree on that, need a higher deck limit now as I have been doing the same. I had more trouble with Heigan than I did with Loatheb although I did use essentially the same deck to beat all 3.

Yeah same. I just beat Heigan with the same deck I've lost to him 6 times with, except I obliterated him this time with over 20 life left because he finally didn't top deck all of the doom guards and all of the soul fires and he finally used mind apocalypse. I'm glad it was challenging though, although Noth was insanely easy for me. Onto Loatheb.

I've been trying to beat the 'authorizing' screen for 2 days but no matter what deck I build, I just can't get past that bastard! I'm thinking maybe my mana curve it too steep or something.

Not sure how people one shot any of these heroics. It definitely took me a buttload of tries for the right draws and to tweak my decks.

Strats in spoilers:
Used ramp Druid for Noth. Nothing too out of the ordinary. I played removal for the early game and big taunts mid/late game, but having him pull out The Black Knight was a big pain in the ass. Plague will also wreck you, so hopefully you don't get hit by that. Counterspell is also a pain in the ass. Also, forget about the Savage Roar combo as you're not likely to make it to 9 mana and they'll be dead cards.

Heigan was probably the easiest for me, but still tough. I basically didn't play many minions on the opening rounds. Silence + Shadow Word: Pain to take care of the first Voidcaller. Maybe I had terrible luck, but if I just straight up killed the Voidcaller, he'd get something stupid like a Dread Infernal or Doomguard. I definitely got lucky though as I Thoughstole a Voidcaller and had it pop out the Doomguard for the win. Putting a Stoneskin Gargoyle on the left can nullify his hero power, but oftentimes it'll just get killed off by minions. If you can clear his minions and then get up a Stonekin Gargoyle, you've pretty much won. Some people have used a buffed Lightwell or Lightspawn, but it wasn't super effective for me.

Loatheb was definitely the toughest, but if you can mulligan into Lightwell (to stabilize against his hero power) and Shadow Word: Pain (for the Fen Creeper), then you at least have a shot. I tried Rogue Tempo and Zoo-lock, but both didn't seem very promising to me. For my Priest deck, I put Nerubian Eggs, Sunfury Protectors, and Ancient Watchers to stall his early-mid game. I basically won by having three minions out to get 2x Spore buffs with Holy Nova.

Seriously? That shit is still happening? So you can't purchase the Plague Wing still? Wow Blizzard, wow.

I one shotted Noth with 30 life remaining, but I guess I must have got a good draw. Heigan took me 7-8 tries because he always, always had a Soulfire early on so jt was impossible for me to establish board presence before I was dead. I had 2 Silences, Mass Dispel, Shadow Words, etc. but still was so difficult. Eventually I got lucky though. Went back and demolished him with a Warlock later on just for fun...Hint: Sacrifical Pact. Then for Loatheb I eventually won with a Priest, but it took half a dozen tries. Went back and demolished him with a Warrior since it was so easy to kill the spores for massive buffs. Noth: Priest. Heigan: Warlock. Loatheb: Warrior.

I feel like everyone is still confused by the new cards. I've only seen some alterations on Druid, but no one has come with that big wtf deck yet.

I did the new heroics pretty easily with priest.

Buffed up Lightwells (i.e. +2 health + double health -> attack equals health) makes it a breeze. For loatheb it might take a nerubian egg or that neurtal 1/7 + taunt for 4 mana guy (something something warden) first. After that Lightwells to absorb damage and heal his hero power. Beat first guy in one try (after failing with a hunter deck), second guy in 1 try, loatheb in 2 tries.

I've tried to fit nerubian egg into a few of my decks, because in theory it's amazing value. Problem is, aside from something like a rush zoo, which I try to avoid playing, I spend too much effort trying to activate it. In a slower control deck, the only real way to activate it is give it taunt with like sunfury/defender, but usually I'd rather taunt a real minion like yeti, etc. I've tried adding things like shattered sun or dire wolf so I can trade it off, but those options just feel weak if you don't have the combo in hand already early game.

Unstable ghoul looks ok as an anti-aggro card, but in general control decks handle aggro well enough on their own, but can struggle in some control vs control matchups, and unstable ghoul is a weak card in those games.

Sludge belcher I've not tried yet, but might be worth using. The thing I don't like is that it's a 5 drop that doesn't kill almost anything above a 3 drop due to it being split into 2 minions effectively. I'm going to put him in some decks and see how it feels.

You have to get lucky with Loetheb. If he busts out poison seeds after you've got your buffed minions ready to start wrecking him, you won't outrun his hero power.

Ya I beat all 3 with a priest deck. The funny one was loetheb. I had 3 minions on the board all with good health...he does the 1 damage aoe spawn a spore thing twice and he also already had 2-3 spores out (don't remember how many exactly). All my minions survive with 1 health and next turn I holy nova wipe the spores and proceed to kill him with 3 minions that had 33 damage. Was laughing so hard once I holy nova'd as I wasn't counting the damage buffs or anything so I had no idea how much damage I was going to end up with before they got buffed.

This happened to me and I was fine actually. Priest hero power, Voodoo Doctors, Farseers, Holy Fire, Holy Nova, Light Wells. He wiped my board like 3 times and I was fine. Eventually I just ran out his hand and then it was much easier.

I think the Egg is pretty narrow, and you put it pretty well. Cards having a specific role is just fine. Egg is great in Zoo.

Amazing in shaman as well. Rockbiter/flametongue make it easy to trade it for other 1/2 and even some 3 drops.
