Finally realized one of my long term goals by getting both Golden Chillwind Yetis. People say that Control Warrior isn't that good right now but I disagree, there are a lot of Freeze Mages and Aggro out there and I can handle them pretty well. Yeah I lose more than I win against Miracle but Miracle isn't the deck to counter right now, it's still Zoo.

You do if you enjoy drafting and get good at it.
This is my first tcg of any kind, Id really like to get good at drafting and arenas but so far the best I can accomplish is around 5 wins. I check tier lists and try to build a balanced deck but really as far as building the deck goes I have no idea what im doing. Is this just something that comes with playing or is there something more to it?

The mana curve should (as a general rule) look like its giving you the finger. Other than that its just like anything else in life, practice practice.

Just had my first 12 win in quite awhile and it indeed was a middle finger curve.

If you want to get good at arena, I'd suggest watching Hafu's stream (if she ever starts streaming again, and not that shit Smite game). Watching her improved my arena game a TON. She drafts pretty quickly usually, but after a few views you'll understand her methods. The biggest gains I got were just from watching her actual turns, though.

Jesus H. Christ every single person I've played today in the new ladder season is taking ages during their turn. Even during the very first few turns, they just fucking sit there. And it doesn't even look like they are at their keyboard because you don't see any cursor highlights or see them looking at their hand. It's so fucking annoying. is this a new legit strategy to get your opponent to concede out of boredom? It's happened 5+ games in a row now. Why do people even bother playing the game if they are so bored by it that they alt tab 90% of the time? I know people have always done this, but it's extremely excessive today.

In other news, playing Poison Seeds against Handlock is extremely satisfying.

Take a break? Sounds like you're strung up on something other than slow people on HS
Nah, it's genuinely been ridiculous today. It's just really annoying because it forces you to alt tab and do something else. It's projected forced boredom. What have people's play testing of Webspinner yielded?

Extremelly limited testing seems positive so far, on paper it sounds good. Excellent 1 drop if you can get it in your opening hand, cheap activator for Kill Command, will almost never be a dead card etc. My biggest problem was finding something to drop for it honestly.

Yeah when I go to make a Hunter deck I end up at like 26/30 before I even hit neutrals. It's a pain in the ass, but I guess it's indicative of how synergistic Hunter class cards are.

Edit: Just got Captain's Parrot twice in a row. FML. It's too bad that card isn't "random Pirate" the way Webspinner is, rather than requiring a card from your deck.

Wow I just accidentally did some awesome business with Loatheb and Shadowstep + Brewmaster. I made my opponent unable to use spells for 4 turns in a row. Control Rogue anyone? Hmmm.

I remembered this is on the ipad now, so i started playing it last night, it's fun stuff but i'm pretty lost trying to make a deck. I'll be going through terminology and what kind of class specific cards there are etc.
I've just been playing a priest so far, i like that they can heal and have specific cards that benefit from healing.

Shaman seems pretty crazy though if they get good RNG on totems
