Anyone care to offer opinions on how to clean this up? It's been surprisingly successful so far.
Don't like Spellbender. Counterspell is underused and underrated as a tempo push with Kirin Tor Mage though, so keep those. Shade is also pretty bad imo. You need a couple more turn 2 plays imo.

Spellbender has been very, very good for me. Miracle, Hunter, Warrior, even Shaman. I've loved it.

I could definitely be convinced to drop to one though. Agree on the Shade. I kinda put it in there just to see how it would do. Hasn't impressed me, but it hasn't seemed terrible against anything.

A little info on whats to come in hearthstone from designer Mike Donais:

The next card expansion will feature "not exactly 100 cards, but it's a lot".
The cards in the next expansion will come out of a new booster pack.
You will still need to purchase Expert booster packs to get Expert cards. You'll have two choices in the store.
There is no current goal for expansion release cycles, but they're working hard on the next one.
Next expansion will have ~100 cards, booster packs
Sounds good all in all. For those of us with nearly complete sets of cards, I like being able to buy expansion packs and not get regular crap that's just going to get dusted. And speaking of dust, I wonder if that means they're going to introduce a new currency (something like "mystic" dust) for crafting the expansion's cards or if they're just going to stick with one currency. I really hope they stick with just one but I can see why they'd go with a new form.

With that being said, I don't see an expansion any earlier than end of this year/beginning of next year.

That is pretty close to a deck I threw together when I had 2 mage quests to burn through. It got me from rank 21 to 15 with like 2 losses in a matter of a couple hours which was fun. I just tweaked it to remove an arcane intellect and a gurubashi berserker for Loathed and the sludge belcher.

Maybe you will have to open the card in a booster before being able to craft the second copy ? That doesn't solve legendaries though. Or they need to introduce another dust sink.

I wonder if they are going to add some PvE with it again.

I doubt it. I think their plan was to use Adventure Modes as a vehicle to release small sets of cards built around a raid/dungeon theme and the larger expansions as straight card packs.

I got to admit , I really hate the state of the game right now. Besides Miracle, and Hunter everything is so fucking slow with all the control decks it's not even fun.

Even Zoo has slowed down

That paladin weenie deck that Reynad made sucks ass

I've been playing Token Druid with Echoing Ooze and Mark of the Wild recently, and some Acidic Swamp Ooze for all the weapons.

Usually when that happens give it a day or two and an aggro deck dominates the ladder making control decks less greedy, but naxx did give control a lot of tools to survive the early game so it'll be interesting to see how things settle down.

Like Sludge Belcher. The reason I added one to my dumb mage deck was I mirror imaged then duplicated someone elses and it basically was game over for them. By the time 5 drops are happening I should have been hitting their face too much for them to last much longer. I don't imagine that deck will get me anywhere near the top but it creates some hilarious games, like the last one I played where my enemy had to get through 6 water elementals over the course of like 4 turns.

Mage is ass with all the hunters running around. Just now I dispelled 3 at once with a flair because the guy played a scientist.

It would be an alternate version of the Armorsmith/Frothing Berserker one going around now, I imagine.

I lost a game to a Priest as a Warrior, where I had 30 Health +28 Armor, and he was down to 13 Health. Shield Slam buried at the bottom of the deck I guess. I hate them Priest fgt's.

That's a control warrior though, I'm talking about speeding it up.
Oh, I'm playing it wrong then. Probably because I have no high-mana legendaries or epics (I have like one crappy giant), so I just ride early/mid game and hope I can pull it off. Basically all of my decks right now have nothing past 5 or 6 drops :p

I did that to a warrior once. Made me hard.

I said fuck it and crafted a couple pyros to build the Amaz priest deck as close as I could (no rag). Pretty awesome so far.

I'm sure that there is a list that would work in some match ups, mid-range Warrior agro has always been an archtype in Hearthstone. I mean Artosis won Blizzcon with one. I'm just not sure it'd be a good ladder deck in this meta.

The annoying thing about Hearthstone is that it differs from every other card game that I've played in the sense that longer games are extremely frustrating, annoying and boring. Usually, you enjoy long games because they are good games and full of lots of twists and turns and strategies. With Hearthstone, you're just annoyed and bored as FUCK. I mean seriously wow. I just can't play constructed anymore right now, because there is so much control and really really boring long games, even if not against control. The state of the game right now is so god damn slow.

I'm just now realising this fact (i.e. always enjoy longer games in other card games, fucking hate them in HS). I've always known I hate playing against control and that I always feel like I lose when playing against old priest, even if you win, you still lose. But I'm just now realising that it's always the opposite in other card games, where I enjoy and encourage long, close games.
