Hearthstone

My mind is blown at how many undertaker priests there are, and how they invariably all get perfect undertaker curves when i cant even fucking draw undertaker.

They just fucking slop garbage into their decks and then draw perfectly. Mind blowing.

Priest is really strong right now, but they aren't strong against Hunter so..

Uh, priest is absolutely strong against hunter. That's one of the main reasons to play priest right now.

Which Priest deck? Not the ones I'm seeing.

I guess it's Zoo priest. A lot of priest I see are running Inner Fire 1-turn wonder decks.

Arena in this game has me at my wits end. I used to be ok. and average 8 wins now i cant get 2. Its always lovely being 1-2 and facing a hunter that has 2 combo in his deck. FML

I'm happy to see priests when playing hunter...It is Shaman that make me cringe.

Seems fairly standard other than the no circles... which if you run 2 auchenai, i dont know why you wouldn't then want a 0 mana cost flamestrike. Also seems like you're slightly overly reliant on wild pyro+cheap spell as removal. I feel like this deck will have a VERY hard time getting back in the game against any other control deck. I just think the deck would be stronger overall switching out 1 smite, the sw: pain, 1 holy fire and 1 wild pyro to fit in the 2 blademasters and the 2 circles. blademasters give you a beefy body early on or in the midgame, and the circles just do wonders with soulpriest, blademaster, and cleric. I would also be fine switching out the other smite for a ragnaros - would improve your control matchup quite a bit

The chances of seeing me on the ladder are next to zero so don't hesitate to share. This meta is kicking my ass. I am not a Legendary player. I never have been and likely never will be. But I can hang with the single digit crowd in terms of rank most of the time. But lately I suck. And I don't just mean that I suck... I mean that ISUCK. I only got to rank 11 last season. Okay whatever I can live with that. Those stars earned me rank 18 to start this season. I have now successfully de-ranked back to 20.

I am rankfucking 20! I played against an obviously brand new guy earlier. I played a turn one Northshire Cleric and this buffoon actually used his Paladin hero power to summon a 1/1 dude to follow my cleric. Of course I kill it with the cleric and then heal it to draw a card. He hovers his mouse over my hero power for a few seconds and then emotes, "Well Played". That was (probably) literally the first time that dude had ever seen such a basic play. I haven't played against someone that new in months. And guess what? He won. I'm not even kidding. The only non basic or non common card he played the whole entire match was a single Azure Drake. Granted, he had clearly read a blog or two because every basic and common card he played was a good one. But still....

I own every truly useful legendary card. I own every truly useful epic card. I own every rare card. My collection is just fine. And yet... I cannot win to save my god damned life.

Someone help me, please. I throw myself to the mercy of the court. What the hell is going on? It is a lot of Hunters sure, but notallHunters. What decks are you guys using? I am at my wits end and I feel like the biggest retard to ever play Hearthstone. I won a match in the last tournament. I can build a control warrior. I have a level 58 Druid. I am notthisbad at Hearthstone, I swear!!! But I can also admit when I am wrong and need help. This is one of those times.

I know this is probably the answer but UGH! Hunter and Rogue? UGH!!!!

I think the skill level has simply gone way up. You don't see nearly as many truly new players so collections and skill are much better than they were. I also think that Naxx disproportionately benefited some classes far more than others (I'm looking squarely at Zoo and Huntard).

Sometimes it is just a lack of focus. Also decks, and players, are getting better. If you don't want to netdeck, you have to really think about the most common netdecks you're going to run into and how to beat them. If I go to Twitch, click on the guy with the most viewers who is running constructed, I know I am going to into that deck a lot today when I'm playing (today it was Zetalot's Deathrattle Priest with the Thaddius guys). I literally ran into half Priests while he was streaming.

I kind of want to see how you're playing your matches. If you're playing Priest there is a decent chance you're playing it wrong, the recent Priest decks are surprisingly complicated.

If you have all of the cards then make and play decks that are beating you. Get an idea for what they are thinking when you face them again on decks you prefer.

I'll throw my advice in and say that there is a decent deck out there for every class right now, even the bottom ones can still take you to legend, all it takes is grinding grinding grinding.

Basically you just need to not run into any of the following:

? "This guy's deck is CRAZY!" ? "My deck can't win against a deck like that" ? "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ? "He topdecked the only card that could beat me" ? "He had the perfect cards" ? "There was nothing I could do" ? "I played that perfectly"
