LG deck can't win before turn 5, Soulfire deck wins at turn 3 with coin, turn 4 without coin. Of course it can use the Warlock hero power. Best class for the LG deck is either Mage (ekes out 2 more damage on turn 4), or Priest/Warrior (for +2 health on turn 4), but it doesn't really make a difference. Soulfire deck always wins.

5-0 so far with this janky ass arena deck. Guesses on how far it will go?

Going back to the fun conversation of 30 card decks, my new meta of 30 soulfires actually loses to my even newer meta of 30 lightwells, which then loses to 30 leper gnomes.

warlock hand - SF SF SF SF

turn 1 - sf sf

priest at 22

priest - coin lightwell

turn 2 - SF tap SF

priest at 14

+3 priest at 17

lightwell

turn 3

SF SF

priest at 9

+6 priest at 15

lightwell - priest now invincible as healing for 9+, will get to 30 hp and then fatigue will kill warlock.

30 leper gnomes also loses to 30 elven archers, but the archers again lose to the soulfires. soulfire beats everything except lightwells, I think.

Yeah, so I went 12-1 with that deck. All I can say is Repentance got a lot better with the introduction of Avenge into the game.
I've got a vastly amusing constructed paladin weenie deck with undertaker, mad scientist, a bunch of cheap deathrattle mobs and redemption/avenge/noble sacrifice.

Soulfire deck wins vs Lightwells if it goes second. Going second is actually ideal for the Soulfire deck, in all match ups.

Turn 1 Coin, SF, SF, SF, tap, SF 16 damage.
Turn 2 SF, tap, SF, 24 damage, LW healed on Priest's turn 3, so 21
Turn 3 SF, tap, SF 29 damage, 2x LW healed on Priest's turn 4, so 23
Turn 4 SF, tap, SF, 31 damage for the win.

So are you guys just ignoring the discard on Soulfire? I'm confused. How is this real theoretical theorycrafting if you're just ignoring half of the card text? Maybe I'm confused, but I don't see how you can cast 4 soulfires with 4 soulfires in your hand. Guess I forgot about the first card draw nm.

Negatory Master, here's why:

turn 1

priest nothing

lock's hand - 5 SF's, coin, 3x SF, tap SF

priest at 14

turn 2 - lightwell

lock SF tap SF

priest at 6

turn 3 - lightwell takes him to 9

play lightwell

lock - SF tap SF

priest at 1

2x lightwell takes to 7

turn 4 - priest HEALS, then plays lightwell.

priest at 9 and invincible.

for morrow: turn two starts with 5 cards, you're ignoring the first card drawn.

30 iceblocks loses to any 30 cards at all from druid, warrior or priest, as once fatigue would kill either player, those 3 just heal/armor and they will outlast the iceblocks.
