Uh, even with it's drawback, that Ogre Ninja is really good. 6/6 w/ stealth for 5 mana and a chance to bypass a taunt?
Except it's a rogue card. Anu'bar Ambusher is also really good, but nobody has made a mid range rogue deck yet and I doubt Ogre Ninja will push that deck over into ladder viability.

That Ogre is much better than the Anub'Bar. But you're right, you'll be looking at a new type of Rogue deck if you use this.

If only there was some sort of expansion coming out with the possibility of altering some of the Meta.

Lol so I don't get it. It seems like those Ogres have higher stats than they should because the 50% chance is technically considered a "downside". Yet with the Warrior weapon, it's just complete shite? No extra stats at all for the cost. Just pure shite.

I often wonder about silences. Like with the two cards that spawn Thaddius. If you silence one, and it dies, and the other is or isn't silenced, and it dies, Thaddius is spawned anyway. Is that supposed to happen?

only the 2nd card matters. If you silence it, Thaddius won't spawn. If you hex or poly either of the minions, Thaddius also won't spawn. Silence on the 1st minion is wasted.

If both minions are out at the same time, you kill one, then silence the 2nd before killing.

That Rogue Ogre is absolutely ridiculous. 5 mana 6/6 that is stealthed and has a chance to hit stealthed minions? Fucking absurd. That card is going to be the basis of a mid range Rogue, no doubt. It's way too good. The stat benefit they give you for that 50% chance (which doesn't even really matter) is way too high.

It gets +1/+1 over Tiger for the "drawback". Keeping in mind the drawback really could be a drawback a lot of the time :p

Well I've tinkered with mid-range/tempo rogue before. The reason Ogre could work is because unless it's absolutely going to lose you the game, you don't mind 6 accidentally going to face instead of hitting something on the board. The biggest drawback to control oriented rogue is that you end up taking so much face damage using your hero power, so any kind of muscle that helps you finish out the game is very welcome.

Yeah ogres really are the deathknell for miracle rogue as if Loatheb wasn't enough. concealed gadgetzan is going to be laughed off after the expansion with so many of the cards we've seen already, I just hope they do encourage a more stable rogue meta. I think with the auto barber and a couple other decent mechs yet to come you could put together a solid rogue deck.

wait, what? Those cards don't affect the viability of miracle rogue at all. I mean first I'd have to play and conceal my auctioneer into your ogre without sapping or killing it. THEN you'd have to get lucky on a 50/50.

I haven't seen a single card that is both bad for miracle rogue AND generally playable like Loatheb.

It's the combination of all the things. You start combining a lot of these 50/50's and it looks really bad.

My Gahz'rilla combo I came up with for "living the dream" or one of those Funny/Lucky Moment videos would be:

Turn 1: Timber wolf (+1 pump! Can't think of anything else here bigger although doesn't get multiplied, obv.)
Turn 2: Call pet. Get Gahz.
Turn 3: Play Gahz.
Turn 4 double mad bomber, all 6 hit him. Coin elven archer on him. Hit face with your 769/2 minion.

That's just the most insane turn 4 damage ever with no input from the opponent. Absolutely astronomical odds but I can't stop laughing thinking about it. Turn 4 is always the first time he can attack since coin doesn't get him out faster than turn 3 with a coin call pet anyway. Might be able to get more damage out of it but that's the best I could puzzle out.

On the more real side, it ups the value of arcane shots for mid game hunters as it's decent but not great removal anyway.

At rank 5, literally, the only decks I see are those designed to hard counter Hunter. I keep getting 5 stars in and then dropping back 2 or 3 stars.

The one thing I don't understand is Priest: Whenever I play priest, eith my shadow priests or my circles of healing are buried at the bottom of my deck without fail even when mulliganing for them. However when I play against a priest, sure as shit, it goes turn 3 coin, soul priest, coh.

Isn't there typically not enough board presence by turn three to do that? Sounds like a waste.
