I am going to have to rethink my arena opinion on that 7/7 shielded force tank for 7 mana. That guy has been a major pita for me every time someone plays it.

It's just a better War Golem, and War Golem is already decent in Arena

Edit: Valen's Chosen is a serious ffffuuuuuu sometimes

He's the giant of arena, very common and having 1-2 in your deck is very good idea, just like any other high cost minion.

Yeah, I love Velen's Chosen quite a bit. Turn 1 cleric, turn 2 coin velens is the nuts. 3/7 +1 spell damage that can attack on turn 2 and is a card draw machine. With all the increased mid-game interaction the set brought that combo is just a game winner.

Also, was messing around with a feign death hunter. Don't have a Gahzrilla yet but got it out of a webspinner. Play it against a miracle rogue, he faces me with his 3/3's, drops malygos, conceals them all. Explosive sheep, Feign Death, double explosion for 4 total, clears his board except malygos, pumps gahzrilla to 24 attack, swing for face. GG. It's a good combo as a finisher for a feign death deck since explosive sheep and feign death are already in there but I don't know if Gahz is worth the slot. Was quite a fun game, though.

That feeling when you clear a board with an 8 damage blade flurry in arena.

Then lose to double holy nova because you had such a fucking slow draw that let you set up that stupid 8 damage assassins blade.

I spent $50 on 40 packs. Those will be the last packs I buy with real money. I got a good assortment of epics but only 1 Legendary (Gazlowe so at least a decent one). 10 epics (Piloted Sky Golem was golden) 4 golden commons or rares. With some of my excess dust I crafted Vol'Jin and the big Trogg guy who has been working out quite nicely.

I played one game. My opponent dropped a Sunwalker (4/5 Divine Shield + Taunt). I play Shrink Meister to bring her attack to 2 and Cabal Shadow Priest to steal it. My opponent concedes

Yeah i'll be playing priest alot... ended up getting frustrated playing arena, so I decided to buy 20 packs with my gold, and opened a Vol'Jin. Should be fun times.

So after losing 7 ranks trying various decks, net decks, copying what the pros are using on twitch, etc etc... I decided to embrace the mech meta and have been cruising back up the ranks. The 1 & 2 mech drops are so fucking OP. They are already auto-include by everyone else, if you aren't using them, you're doing it wrong.

You don't need to make a fully 100% mech deck, just the early game ones to get you past turns 3-4

Toshley might actually be pretty good depending on your deck. Bigger body than Cairne or Sylvanas and you don't really lose any value to silence/hex/poly. Also, early glimpse at what streamers are coming up with, Antique Healbot is shaping up into a meta-defining card. Dr Boom is also looking a lot more playable than previously thought, Sjow used it when he hit rank 1 with control warrior today, and Strifecro is using it (and healbots) in his mage deck.

Healbot in Handlock basically means the deck has no bad matchups, so for now it's probably the best general laddering deck. We'll see if it makes slower control shaman or any kind of control rogue more viable. Rogue's biggest weakness (and a big weakness of Shaman) is that you take a lot of face damage using your weapons.

Shaman Mech aggro is looking like pretty serious business too.

I had a Bloodlust deck a while back that run Auctioneer+Totemic Might and double Mana Tide. It actually worked pretty well, 4-6 health totems are hard to clear. The main issue was I often ran out of life before I could win. I think Vitality Totem might fix it.

Clockwork Gnome is OP. Not even kidding. Getting a Reversing Switch can end the game, and the Freeze/Stealth/Taunt aren't bad either. Only the +1 attack or +1 health spare parts suck, but man, Reversing Switch and Freeze are clench.

Have a Rogue with 3 Deadly Poisons and 2 Sharpsword Oils and 2 Auto Barbers and 2 Assassins's Blades. Rushing down people well, then I play a Mage with (4) FOUR Acidic Swamp Oozes. wut.

Finally broke my Hearthstone addiction and haven't played in a few months. But I'll get right back in it if they ever launch the android tablet version. Any word on this yet?

Dr. Boom was a lot stronger than I thought in the arena run I got him in, but I'm still not sold on him mainly because the bombs can go face so they always seemed to have minimal effect, but a big body + something for 7 mana ain't too shabby. After my arena run I wasn't sure about him in constructed because of bgh, but I suppose having him bgh'ed isn't the worse thing in the world considering your opponent still has to deal with the two bombs also, so at least they don't get that tremendous tempo swing. If you run multiple 7+ attack minions I suppose its premium bgh bait. I think he's stronger in decks that can utilize tokens too, like if you could flametongue the bombs the following turn would be a strong play.

I had clockwork gnome originally, he's good if you can fit him. I went against a rogue that had the dream opening: coin + mech warper + clockwork gnome + clockwork gnome on turn 1.

I won mainly from consecrate and the fact I had 2x mechwarpers / shielded minibot to follow up.

I took Trump's Paladin "Quartered" deck, gutted some of the control pieces and added 2x cogmaster, 2x mechwarper and 1x annoy-o-tron. I'm about 75% win rate now.
I had dropped from rank 8 to 15, now with this deck im back down to rank 10.
