None. It was just a really fast faceshaman deck with enough nukes to put me in lethal range really early.5 fire elementals?

It's just how it worked out. I picked the best card in each pick. Every nuke I picked was by far the best choice, and I had 3 spellbreakers (again, they were up against shitty cards in the draft) that always seemed to topdeck exactly when I needed them. I'd mulligan for the fastest start possible and go straight to the face.Just happen to draft that way or did you purposefully do that against better single picks? I'm weary of setting out to draft a specific deck because while I think an agro deck would wreck arena(who's expecting it?), your draft would just end up giving you 5 war golems and pyroblasts.
The variance is starting to get to me. I swing back and forth from 17 to 12 or so just about every day now.Fuck this game
I was just musing this morning (while hacking up a lung - I hate this cold) - the theory of "Trainer" cards for each class to allow the archetypes from WoW to actually show up for each class. This guy made some interesting custom cards, of course, some shit is crazy OP, but I like the ideas, especially those that improve your hero power ala steamwheedle sniper.

Like most control you just need to bring them down fast before they start to stabilize. If you're staring at turn 5 and the priest is still full health, it's not looking good.If you run a minion heavy deck is it just completely impossible to beat priests? I can't figure it out, it seems impossible to keep board control.
I did a little reading and research at Icy Veins hearthstone site. Is this a good resource? Are there any other good website guides out there? Any other tips for a beginner?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Hearthpwn is an awful resource. Although they have robust deck creation tools, the signal to noise ratio over there is so bonkers high it's not worth messing with, unless you just want to laugh at scrubs. It's basically blizz forums 2.0.liquidhearth and hearthpwn
Fair enough, I do use it mostly for the deck creation tool while at work. Every once in awhile I'll look at the "top decks" or whatever if its for a class I haven't played in awhile and I'm trying to get a quest done. I never pay attention to any posts there that is true.Hearthpwn is an awful resource. Liquid Hearth and ihearthu have much better articles/interviews.
Yes. The adjusted casting cost is what determines whether or not Gazlowe gives you a mech. So if you have that apprentice out and cast a free spare part, you won't get a mech.If I have Gazlowe and Sorcerer's Apprentice out and I cast Frostbolt, will I get a mech from Gazlowe?
Bahahaha I just played a hardcore Mill Druid with massive amounts of healing with my Handlock. So fucking fun. I got down to 1 fatigue but was still at 30 life because of all his healing. I made sure to thank him for his assistance in my deck's strategy afterward, all that healing and draw really helped me out. I told him I wish all my opponents were as helpful as him and as understanding about their inevitable demise. The best part was me calling his bluff on an early Grove Tender that had us each draw a card where he emoted "A natural mistake" twice about. He was trying to trick me into believing it wasn't mill. Lol hilarious game.
