Really enjoyed it. End was the weakest part for me. Would have been a much better movie if they just kept discussing religion and its purpose and putting the girls in more situations that made them question their beliefs.

Wife and I watched this tonight and enjoyed it. Was pretty creepy and had lots of suspense. Definitely worth a watch.

It's not stupid $20 to rent it, or is it down to movie ticket price? I know I know I can sail the high seas, but when something that comes out that actually looks good at least like the sling a bit of coin their way, and not going to pay 20 dollars to rent a fucking movie, no matter how awesome it looks.

Are you married? I mean great date movie my wife loved it but definitely rent if you can’t do theater. This is the kinda movie we should support.

30 years ago these movies were more frequent. Sad..

This was one of those movies that my wife and I were going to go see on a date night because it looked so heartwarming.

In all seriousness,

My wife doesn't like horror movies, so I typically have to watch them by myself. I've gotten her to watch some more cerebral type stuff without a lot of Gore, but even them it's just not her cup of tea.

I'm honestly very interested in watching the thing but I haven't sailed behind season a long time and I have the last time I checked to see if it was available on streaming at least a rent, it was still $20 or something stupid. When it gets to 5 or 6 bucks I'm okay, to me it's the price of going and seeing it in the theater except cheaper and I can make my own popcorn, drink a beer or have a glass of whiskey, and pause it when I wish to go take a piss. I've got great headphones and my office and an amazing screen, and enjoying that versus the movie theater.

I will say though covid and going to see a movie when the theaters were still open was probably the best. You can be one of two people if not the only person in an IMAX screening.

Glorious...

$20 to rent right now. Could see it being on Peacock in a couple months.

That's why I figured it would probably end up coming to a platform, I'm probably through Amazon I can get it for a couple of bucks, but I'm not paying $20 for a chance to watch a movie that I might not like.

I'm starting to sell my ship around a little bit though. That's honestly one of the movies out there right now that I've got on my list of things to watch, and I don't consume a bunch of new stuff nowadays, and so that kind of makes me happy.

I just rewatched the first three die hard films over the past few days because they're far superior than any action movies that are produced nowadays.

The crazy thing is three is the only one I actually saw in the movie theater.

I don't know if you guys actually realize the power of amazing '80s metal or just strange weird stuff from a country and their citizens that no longer have the ability to defend themselves, let alone have free speech

This one was pretty solid up until the last 5 minutes or so. But otherwise, nice to see a horror movie that also tries to be a bit philosophical if a bit hamfisted about it. Hugh Grant is doing some solid roles outside of his romantic comedy stick with this one and DnD
