You might have to crunch some numbers, but as you know running HM you double your rewards. I say if you are getting to 11...it's probably a toss up.I'm still struggling with all the Phoenix's in Crusade. I can handle 1 or maybe 2 in a row, but any more than that and my Chaplain just cannot keep up with the team-wide damage I take. My team goes into each following stage weaker and weaker.
So, my question is which is more rewarding... going 15/15 normal crusade or like 11/15 on hard?
Also, I'm at team level 46. Is it worth it to use a lvl 43 3* merc DK or just stick with my lvl 46 3* Ironhoof (still talking Crusade)? If the DK was 46, I would for sure use him, but I'm just not sure how much that 3 level hit will hurt his effectiveness.
Yes. There is a "Demotion" button.wait, you can switch halfway through?
pretty sure they changed her name at some pointI keep seeing people say Leaves Shadow, is that different than Shadowleaf?
What's the best way to utilize Phoenix in Crusade? It seems that you are very likely to end a stage with the Phoenix on extremely low health.Regarding the DK, I don't know...maybe I just don't know how to use him well, but he wasn't all that IMHO. At that level I hired a Phoenix if there was one up as a merc, so you would effectively get 5-6 free stage clears if you own a Phoenix already.
Yep, if you are struggling you just have to remember not to do it too late. The stage you are on won't be any easier on normal, but all the subsequent ones will (due to regen at end of combat)wait, you can switch halfway through?
Use the beam towards the beginning of the fight which should usually ensure he gets it totally off and turn into the egg/regen phase which should bring you up to near full health. Or if you are at half health, try and wait a bit then let loose. It's somewhat dependent on the situation. What's the best way to utilize Phoenix in Crusade? I've just started playing so I've only done a few crusades, but I usually charge Phoenix's ult in the first 2 stages, then put it away. I pull it out when I get to that level that always pops up that does way too much damage around 11 or 12 just start at the beginning, destroying the enemy team. Usually this will allow me to do it again on a later stage as well. What's the best way to utilize Phoenix in Crusade? Yeah going against a Phoenix a few times in a row sucks for sure. When that happens I just try to put my best DPS team out there and burst them down before they can use their ult, and retreat if it doesn't happen. Another piece of advice I would offer to everyone is to always hire a Merc no matter way. Just find the best hole you need to fill in your team (usually a tank I find) because it just gives you one more character to burn through if needed.I'm still struggling with all the Phoenix's in Crusade. No.I keep seeing people say Leaves Shadow, is that different than Shadowleaf?
Yes, extra soulstones are because it's Hm. Since you get double loot you get the hero itself plus the equivalent in soulstones of pulling the hero againNo.
Also I just got Pilot and Deathgore from the same stage of Crusade. Plus shards for each(is that because it's hard mode?).
edit: Also made 6k or so honor points and like 4 million from Crusades today. Had only done like 4 stages yesterday and finished that up plus a full run. All Hard Mode. Which was a first for me, always ran out of steam on HM before.
Also folks should remember that you can always pause and retreat from a crusade fight as long as one member of your team is still alive. You reset to before you entered the fight and can try a different line up or special attack timing.
You need silence for Phoenix. After maxing out my Silencer (and now with maxed DM), I have no problems with old curse or phoenix. I silence just before they use their ult and they just crumble away.I'm still struggling with all the Phoenix's in Crusade.
