KT/Jaina/Illidan vs Butcher/Zeratul/Nazeebo was on Blackheart's Bay. We lost early skirmishes for the chests and tried to D up on the turn in, but would get wrecked every time. Our mages couldn't get past the front and Nazeebo would safely Ravenous from behind.Well the enemy team was just as squishy and you had kt/jaina so I would definitely chalk that up to your team getting outplayed/just the map in general. Your team should have had better team fight potential, but the enemy team had much better skirmishing potential which is needed on dragon shire. Don't play it carefully and they get an early advantage and snowball from there.
Two tank meta is popular again and has been since the previous patch, but dragon shire has always been a good two tank map anyways.
Dragon shire is funny because it is one of those maps you can out think the other team and completely dominate but NO ONE ever does it in any HL games. The absolute best strategy is to run 1-4-0 and the 4 mid just roam between mid and bot depending upon the minions. You basically rotate bot, kill anyone over extended, clear the wave, rotate top, same, rotate, rotate. It is by far the best way to play the map. Even if your team is uncomfortable with the idea of keeping a naked lane you can run 1-3-1 and it is essentially the same thing.Don't even need to queue as a 5 members for that. I'll have to /join Rerolled to look for groups.
Speaking of comps, what's good for what maps? For Dragon Shire, I've been asking my team to go double warrior, but the last two times, I got bitched out for "not enough dps" by bad players who just kept feeding and don't know how to wait for your team to engage. I still believe that it's good for that map though.
Another example: our team went KT/Jaina/Illidan while theirs had Butcher/Zeratul/Nazeebo and we got slaughtered every team fight. I could chalk it up to bad players on my side and good players on theirs, but it seemed like it could've been avoided in the draft by not picking squishy heroes. Every engagement Nazeebo would Ravenous Spirit and wreck our back line and then Butcher and Zeratul would just clean up as everyone tried to run away.
Who was your tank/support? Sounds like your team was lacking cc.KT/Jaina/Illidan vs Butcher/Zeratul/Nazeebo was on Blackheart's Bay. We had Rehgar (me) and Johanna. Theirs was Brightwing/Leoric. In retrospect, Uther probably would've been better for Divine Shield. But I remember thinking that I wanted the mobility for the map as well as a lower cooldown heal.Who was your tank/support? Sounds like your team was lacking cc.
Yeah, the enemy team had an early game advantage. If you had any reliable cc your team would have been blowing up the first person to get cc'ed.We had Rehgar (me) and Johanna. It's based on your MMR and the games don't really matter.Lost a ton in my placement matches. Rank 6. Cool I guess?
He's good on any map which has prolonged timeout from lanes for objectives. Which means Cursed, Mines, BoE, Garden are all pretty good choices for him. He excels when he is given a melee assassin to latch onto due to his nature of giving not only attack speed but making his skillshot trivial to hit. He can turn any 1v1 into a sudden 2v1. He should always lead in experience since he can body soak XP during the objective phase while not hindering his team making the objective fight still an effective 5v5.Can somebody please explain to me what I'm missing about Abathur? Dipshitsinsiston playing him, yet he's fucking awful on every map except for Eternity. That's the only map where being down a physical body isn't ahugedetriment.
Also, I fucking hate the goddamn changes to health bar colors. It fucking blends way too much with most environments and the mana pool. Maybe it's just me, but it's making playing a healer (especially Malf - innervate) a pain in the ass.
I got back about 15k from when I picked up that heroes of the storm thing sold at best buy for $15If you double owned heroes (from buying with gold and buying a bundle) the refund went through. I have so much gold now.
That quest isn't for the mount, it's for a portrait. The mount is 20k gold.I don't know if it's just because I play at night, but the treasure goblin mount quest is a bullshit implementation. I've gotten exactly 1 treasure goblin per day; my own. Never get one otherwise at night. Somehow I doubt they'll keep the quest active for 50 days.
