I've seen like 2 or 3 casters for this so far, they are alright (better than a lot of Hearthstone commentary but still not as good as the better ones imo) I like Khaldor because he gets so excited about shit lol. They do all seem to do a good job explaining things, why its important on this map, why this talent etc.

nah the casters suck, the ones that do king of the storm are awful, you should just take their idea, and make it better, I guess they don't even have a website for king of the storm? its just on reddit?

grab me and vitality for casters and you're golden GO!

It's really not blowing up on Twitch like Hearthstone did... so probably not unless it has some influx of players 2-3 years down the line like LoL.

If you do something pretty innovative you could possibly break onto the HotS scene. There is really only a few sites for builds, replays/MMR rankings, and forums.

Watching the NA ESL, Tempo Storm (formerly Symbiote Gaming) is pretty much the best team in HotS and near unbeatable, just ran an ETC against another really great team C9 Maelstrom and won both games. Maybe its just skill considering how good TS is, but that ETC did some work. ETC coming back strong boys!

Any bros wanna set up semi static group for hero league? or even quick match id like to find 3 other people interested in giving it a shot.

ill play support, but if someone else wants to I don't mind I just default myself to that role since most like to pewpew.

I want to play it but honestly I can't stand watching it. I have a hard time believing this will blow up with the current gameplay and Blizzard's ass backwards pricing model.

I'd be interested, just hit 26 this morning so need a couple days before Hero league but I would like to get more games in before that anyway, I'd prefer to play an assassin but could do a tank if really needed.

Also, those VoDs are up on Twitch, that Reddit page is where they show up. There is a weekly tourney and a monthly, Delly was talking about the monthly games:
Kings of the Storm Monthly Invitational V : HeroesVoDs

SMG (Now Tempo Storm) does regularly shit on everyone, they also run at least 1 off pick in most of their matches which is cool (this time was ETC like was mentioned, they also ran a Rehgar/Thrall combo that worked) WANP is another good team that shows up in these tourneys as well.

::EDIT:: I'd also be interested in trying to get in on whatever Draegan is cooking up.

Content for the game on twitch has taken a dramatic and noticeable uptick since they released beta for this game. It has gone from maybe 700 viewers at anytime to more around 4k. Take has started stuff for it, Khaldor has stuff for it and recently ESL had a tournament for it. And that is still with a fairly high barrier of entry which will be taken down once it releases openly. Time will tell if the game will take off or not but it is steadily growing.

I'm sure it will be huge when it becomes free to play. I bought it because I really wanted to play but the founders pack is really terrible value and I think that's stopping a lot of people from buying in.

They really need to fix the matchmaking and it would help. If the difference between MMR is so great then its going to be shitty games.

I see a lot more of people not having a clue how to play MOBAs compared to when I played Dota or Lol. Not sure how you get to ranked and don't know how to position yourself but its making it really hard to break sub rank 10.

There was an interesting post on the reddit that showed there (is probably) a ranking system in place, its kind of a shitty one though as it is taking the average mmr of the 5 players on each team. So you may have 1 really good player and 4 shitty ones or a range of mediocre players. His sample size was really small but it doesn't really seem far fetched, also considering the still relatively small player pool and newness of the game.

I've played almost every hero, but today was my first time trying Sonya. Sonya is by far the worst hero I've played yet.. even worse than current Abathur. Maybe with a couple of healers, she could be ok.. but I doubt it.

I just know I have had to make some mental changes when going into draft. I originally expected decent/good/great players who knew the basics and most of the advanced parts of the game. I even make sure not to down talk or disrespect what I consider shitty hero picks, just because anything can happen once its game time. I now just expect bad/decent/good players. I don't expect people to make any good calls, usually the bad ones are the most vocal and make awful ones. I could list tons of examples, probably one from each game, but nothing will change until they fix the way matchmaking works.

Anyone that references MMR to others in chat will probably die young anyways when they finally realize they aren't invincible because of their HotS MMR, so you can rest easy knowing that.
