Sure I guess. But I really don't see any play making abilities that can be called consistent. Sure there are some gimmicky things you can do but they are essentially three auto attackers unless you trait into a mediocre dps ability and two defensive ones.

There are no play making abilities. No cc, no big hps or shields. It's just poorly made. I don't buy the its just beta since you have to buy them now. It's essentially release quality.

I think most people are going to hide behind the l2p excuse because of the micro and not really look at the kid and traits itself.

A farmed azmo is like a farmed nasus but it's easier with azmo. I played a few games last night and its beastly.

With proper micro you can form a triangle around a hero and effectively lock them in via triple body blocking. Their one ability to make all the Vikings spin seemed to do decent damage especially if all three hit the same target. The fast guy also seemed very good as an XP soaker since he's so fast and as long as you position him right and stare at the map he shouldn't get ganked. They may not put up individual stats but that doesn't make them worthless.

They may be suffering from the current meta of being focused majorly around AOE abilities. Heroes which can deal out significant AOE damage (Cleave Zeratul, W valla, Tychus in general) are generally highly sought after. However with the Vikings if they are 5 picked against a heavily single target focused comp then now suddenly get +300HP per level spread across all the Vikings. By far the most HP gain. They also effectively get +18 attack scale which I think is the highest on the game now as well (and start at 58.)

Thats one triangle you could very easily break... the slingshot guy can get 2 shot by most dps assassins lol
they're way too squishy imo, like.. barely better than murky is

Erik actually has more HP than Murky. By a decent amount really. 350+70 so at 10 he has 1050 HP. A 10 Murky has 850 HP.

The Illidan was insane the game he played, total monster lol. It seems from the earlier games I watched he was good until late late game where he totally fell off in teamfights (20+) but now with the new talent he essentially got a substantial damage buff which also adds to survivability and it seems to be just enough. They did have a good comp for him and he hit two crazy good 5 man meta's that helped as well. They banned him 2nd game so they could get Stitches or Zera afaik. Blackscorp was in chat for the first game and I asked him what he thought and he mirrored what I said basically, crazy good pick right now.

::EDIT:: Also that Zagara pick lol over a lot of "top" tier heroes still available.

Also since Valla is one of the few heroes with Executioner still I could see Illidan + Valla being an effective DPS duo paired with double support and a tank. At 20 as long as Illidan and Valla are on the same target (Valla goes single target build ofc) that thing would just explode.

That triangle body block is a gimmick and very hard to pull off. Why not just pick a hero with a point and click stun?

I thought I read somewhere that the Q can only hit a single target once and jot three times if all lv are close.

They have a new icon which is a very bad looking "B"

So I'm guessing if they get enough there will be a "Blizzard Classic" bucket or something. But they only have a handful of characters to pull from like Blackthorne and Rock N Roll racing so doubt it'll ever be a thing.

Pretty good gameplay vid from Force. He basically takes Erik around to soak xp / push lanes while Olaf and Baleog run around doing mercs (can't do boss though). TLV don't contribute much of anything to team fights though as he picked the rez ult.

Like I thought, the gameplay is pretty frenetic, but he does a good job.

Just played a game where the Uther on our side sat AFK in hearthstone the entire game. We actually ended up winning because the other team had an AI, but it's pretty annoying to deal with shit like that. We don't have any Blizzard people here, that can somehow boot that piece of shit from beta, do we? I reported, but who knows what that does.

This guy did it the entire game... didn't even pick talents. Just sat there and kept himself from timing out so an AI couldn't take over.

Yeah it happens where people are just farming XP that route. I will say Blizzard did do a wave of bans (I think 2 week?) on people with tons of reports.

Yeah honestly I would rather have a shitty bot or the computer AI than some dick who AFK's at fountain the entire game. I ran in a couple of those last night... Right now so many people are just shitting the bed with the lost vikings, I am sure there are players who will put them to good use but overall if the other team has the lost vikings and you don't then enjoy the freebie win.
