There are tons of posts with detailed information comparing prices to Dota and League on other sites, including the battle.net forums. People know the deals are awful, that Blizzard is just ignoring the pleas of its fans, and yet people keep buying. It's hard to blame Blizzard when people can't control themselves.
yeap, normally I would say they are destroying their brand. But that just doesn't seem to be the case. sc2, diablo 3. cost and quality just seem to have little relevance for them anymore.

The Apple of gaming.

So after getting my shit pushed in a few times playing malf I realize he just doesn't put out enough healing to counter enemy burst. If they are sloppy about it, sure, but played two games in a row where the assassins were very well coordinated and I just couldn't heal thru it. Uther on the other hand... my new go to support.

Wins are not easy to come by in this game.
No, at times they are not. I think a lot of it has to do with the still small population, hopefully that changes with ppl able to buy in, even though it'll take awhile for those ppl to get to ranked.

Queuing with a couple friends and we often get stuck with the bottom barrel pugs and we continually nearly carry these ppl to victory and then they undoubtedly get themselves killed causing us to lose the match. We finally won a game last night because we wrecked so hard in the beginning and throughout the game it didn't matter the couple of times our pugs got caught out towards the end, had it been a closer game it would have been another loss.

Got Gazlowe to level 5 last night - Funny champ really - Solo's merc camps and enemy structures pretty quickly.

The enemy team would be off doing something and I'd rip down 3 towers by the time they'd chase me off.

The rest of your team hates you btw.
Yeah until they see me take out the enemy teams second keep then they're like oh shit lets go win the game and decide to help me out.

Low level play is weird man.

I probably won't play Gazlowe that much after I got him 5 - he's pretty weak at the rest of the game.

Quick play can just be very depressing. It's hard to go back because ranked is actually much more enjoyable.

We lost the teamfight but don't worry guys I was up top and I got the keep to 50%. Just keep trading 4 kills for 1 and eventually that keep will be down and we'll slowly lose this game in agonizing fashion!

Yeah I don't think split pushing like that will get me very far which is why I'm probably not going to play Gaz anymore. He just doesn't fit solo queue at all.

Gaz doesn't fit any queue very well. All his skills are countered by anyone with a pulse. He just isn't a very good hero. Not saying you can't beat teams with it but there is better investments of your time than to learn a low-tier hero which will only instill bad habits in your play.

Gaz is fine if your team can 4v5 or get pick offs. Anytime you lose 4 people and your Gaz is pushing a lane, you're gonna have a bad time. You basically just have to play a 4v5 game but now you can ignore mercs because Gaz has that covered.

You can definitely tell there are new players playing quick play. Avoid it if you don't feel like dealing with them. I played with my friend who is new to MOBAs and fairly average with video games all around and we queued into 2 other new players. Pretty much ended with me telling them to go play cooperative so they could understand map objectives.

Then again sometimes I feel the same way about playing ranked. Too many times people just stay in lane and avoid objectives, which is fine if they announce it and we all know whats going on. If nothing is said I expect everyone to go to shrines, curses, golems, mines, etc.

Yeah I agree Tenks, he's very weak at anything but Mercs and building damage. Which disappoints me pretty greatly, I was hoping he'd be like heimerdinger atleast but the turrets don't apply that much pressure and are pretty easy to deal with.

Eh, It was fun for the few games I did it. I only think I skipped one objective and that was to push the mercs into the main base on the last game of the night.

50% non-hero DR + 150% non hero damage dealt made it kind of pidgeon-holed towards seiging.

Learn to expect nothing and just assume everyone has no idea what is going on. I'm the world's #1 pinger telling them every intention I have and every intention I have of them. You'll be shocked how well people respond if you ping their hero then ping where you want them to go. I feel many people love to play the hindsight game in Heroes where they never explained their intention and just expected the team to be mind readers. Even if what you were doing was the obvious thing to do. Expect idiots and be happy when they're not.
