Do people with money even die from AIDS anymore? Honest question not sarcastic. I thought they had drugs that basically put it into remission type of deal for many many years as long as you could afford the treatments.

aids.gov has all the info you could ever want. I'd love to be a smartass but here we are 30+ years later and many people don't really understand what HIV is even today.

Stages of HIV Infection

tldr it's chronic. Not the marijuana. As long as you take your medication and live a clean'ish life, you won't develop the things that can actually kill you like AIDS. Which doesn't really kill you either, but means you have no immune system and a minor cold becomes an pneumonia and you die.

So basically Sheen is fucked then since he won't stop drinking, drugging and whoring it up.
I knew the difference between HIV and AIDS already but as the title states, not HIV positive but AIDS. Not sure if that was in error or if he is full blown deep into it.
Guess we will find out tomorrow if even then.
