Grass is purple though. It only looks green to us because the purple pigment absorbs all the red/blue light leaving only green. We are only able to see the light that it rejects rather than the object itself. Reality is weird.

Definitely. Molech and Baal cults had features that were heavily adopted by early Judaism

Early Judaism was far more polytheistic than people understand. All these characters were part of one big pantheon, some of them overlapping.

Robert Wright's "Evolution of God" goes into this part of early Abrahamic traditions really deeply probably the best non academic book I"ve read on the subject.
