Relative bought a $1600 thermador microwave. It blew up in 2 years, $1500 to repair.
It did microwave good while it lasted though.

Now that i think of it the thermador range had issues after a few years too.
Don't cheap out and go thermador vinen.

Imagine how foolish you'd feel if your friends came over and saw you with a peasant tier Frigidaire

I think Samsung is probably ok, but they should really stick to what they know. There's good brands for every appliance (that arent 10k).

My father in law is in town and we always knock out a few projects together. So far we’ve replaced all the deck boards and deck steps, installed a new gate at the back of my fence, and cut down a tree that’s been continually dropping debris into my pool.

Wife wants to buy a shed, nothing too bit. Something for the lawnmower and yard tools. What's my best bet - prebuilt.from somewhere like home Depot or should I outsource to a custom company?

That was a big old tree.

I've been pulling down trees myself. I'm starting to dislike lumberjacking.

Whenever I'm doing it though I think about centurions forced to do it with hand tools. I swear to god, I'd move the house instead.

Prebuilts are fine. But if you just want a place to keep the rain off yard tools and firewood, an open face shed is very very easy to build. Materials won't be more than a few hundred. Labor is about two afternoons.

Or just buy one and have some dudes plop it in your yard. Also works. Expect wildlife to nest in it, because they will.

Building your own isn't hard, and it's not expensive. On the other hand, getting a prebuilt one delivered and set up is even easier, and if something goes wrong, you can bitch at someone else to come and fix it. Really, there's no bad option here.

Well the home Depot/Lowe's ones we want are like $900 and they ship the materials and you build it. Vs $2400 for them to build it. Only issue is we have to make the base for it.

It's gonna be a lot of labor that I'll have to pay people for either way

A big problem is I don't have enough time to do massive amounts of work so it'll have to coincide with a vacation.
