Definitely an evolution from Hexada and Noise. I listened to a bunch of it. I can appreciate the talent -- it's just not for me. This album, though, is much more like the old school industrial I'm used to. I'm not sure that's a good thing, but I like it.

Ghostemane is meant to appeal to a very young to young audience I'd say. I can appreciate it also and played Anti-Icon album front to back, but biggest complaint from critics is his albums lack cohesion. He's got his core audience and he's satisfied with that. Cohesive work be damned. It's been a few albums now and the same issue plagues every album. People who want to like him as an artist are denied the opportunity.
