This was one of the upcoming "promising" MMO's that started being developed right after UO, EQ and AC proved to be popular. This, together with games like Horizons(flop, but lives on), UO2(cancelled), Shadowbane(flop but reached cult status) and some cartoony, online spinoff of the Warcraft games.......

This Serafina person actually managed to keep the hype on life-support up till 2012 apparently, which is the last update on the news page. If there were ever empty promises in MMO-land, this was it.
