Well placed my first option sold a call on Aal at a 19 strike for this Friday, bought all 100 shares when it hit 13.5, either way it is house money at this point.I know it is prolly small ball for you folks but had to start somewhere heh

welp, put a limit order in for 50 DIS at 92 and it hit.

In France they're (the government) already mentionning getting into Air France capital, and even possibly nationalize it. Looks like a lot of competition will die off from Coronavirus in this sector.

The energy mlps I bought way too early are dropping 10% a day. I know the leveraged funds are getting blown out. I buy more, think it might be over. Today I read these Etrac ETNs double and triple leveraged are closing. No wonder they couldn't rally. Some of them are NG which has rallied. The parents all did but not the pipes.

Italy is nationalizing Altalia, that basket case of a airline that has always lost money. How quick member states are to break EU rules about direct government aid.

If they try and save Norweigian, which was on its last legs anyways, that will be a laugh.

It isn't about e-peen. I have more respect for someone starting small and within their means than I do some noob taking out a heloc and dumping it into BTC.

I will say most folks trade the options with the intent of not actually buying or selling the shares. The money tends to be made in the buying and selling of the option contracts themselves.

I have traded energy off and on for a good while. What I learned is to stick to the 4 or 5 oil majors. They have balance sheets I can analyze and trust (mostly). They are also so enormously yuge that they can handle the volatility of the energy market.

These moves in treasury yields are just off the charts. Everyone who ran into bonds and the thought they avoided the pain are now having their head handed to them down almost 20% from the peak.

That bet on here for 19k stock market might be realized today.

I really do not fucking understand what they are doing with this stimulus package and quarantine. Do they really think tossing a trillion dollars into this bon-fire again will do anything but set it aflame? We're only a week or two from having mass riots and looting starting in some big cities if politicians keep acting this fucking stupid.

Triple witching on Friday, normally a volatile day and in this environment it could be a real fireworks show. Things absolutely do not need to improve right now, we dont want a rally. We want a calming of the markets. Even setting a new low 45 days from now would be fine if we can do it under lower volatility.

Pretty much. It may work better now that the government response is more unified. Last week when Trump was still touting that this was no big deal, while simultaneously rates were being cut, that did not bode confidence in the government being on the same page.
